Hello gamers, I've an extra GTX 1070 in my box and at the moment playing games with my GTX 1080 Ti. I'm thinking to put my GTX 1070 as a dedicated Physx card and relief my GTX 1080 Ti for only gaming. Is it worth it as of now? Can I get extra FPS by dedicating GTX 1070 as a Physx Card? Your guidance is always helpful.
As far as I know it's not worth it. Physix runs well in the games that support it, your real gain over a 1080TI will probably be a single digit frames for the price of almost double the power usage. Do yourself the favour and use the card otherwise (second PC), or keep it as a backup, or sell it, but using it as a dedicated Physix card doesn't pay off these days.
