Hello, I'm having an issue with my GPU (I guess) .
I'm playing Cod warframe with 35-50 Fps at maxed out settings even though it should run at about 90-100.
    I tried:
    1. Ddu clean drivers reinstallation
    2. Windows and nvidia power settings for maximum performance
    3. Clear CMOS ( you never now)

And now as my last choice is to reinstall OS, reallly want to avoid that time consuming choice.

    Any suggestions?
    Thanks

    Specs: i7 6700k , vengeance 32gb 3200mhz, HTC 1070 aorus (latest drivers), nvme 970 pro 512gb, corsair ax760 on a win 10 64bit professional.

    Edit: monitor res at 2560x1080p
Edit 2: I think im on the wrong section im so sorry that was my first post

its an issue with the games optimization for 4 core processors.

Can you be more specific? if you mean that's the games fault i dont think so cause i've seen a youtube video where this guy runs with i7 2600k+12gb ram with 1070 at 100 fps.

The problem is with MULTIPLAYING or CAMPAIGN???
    -----------------------------------
    - For some games, a cpu with a higher clock speed, or in a technical name IPC (Instructions per clock), has better results than other CPU's with higher core count and lower core speed.
    -----------------------------------------
    Disable 3rd party software.
Under Task manager DISABLE Programs(those you know and you do not USE) under STARTUP tab and RESTART

    Example:

    -------------------------------------

    ALSO:
TRY Opening Task manager, Details, Modern warfare executable , Set priority => normal

    Doubt that.

Set the processes priority to normal, defaults to high.

    Done that as well. Same.

I know. So I added a ssd 860 pro with a fresh installation of win 10 pro, latest nvidia drivers and guess what? Same frames. I guess my GPU is faulty? Temperatures are normal, usage of both CPU and GPU are normal, I tried ram with 3200 and 2200. Nothing seems to fix the frames.

What's in bold will make a difference.

Make sure always after you reset the BIOS to choose your XMP profile for the RAM. Otherwise your RAM is probably running at 2133Mhz right now or lower. Choosing the 3200Mhz XMP profile will set it to the correct frequency, timings, and will do the voltage it needs for it all automatically.

Should give you a bit of a boost.

Does your 6700K have a CPU cooler? Or are you running on stock? Biggest boost you can get without doing a big hardware upgrade (that will be costly), is if you buy a CPU cooler (cheap alternative) and overclock that CPU to 4.6Ghz or 4.7Ghz.

It's not your CPU. Something going on in your setup I can tell you that much. An Intel 6700K paired with a GTX 1080; can render an Average of 71.8FPS in Shadow of the Tomb Raider
at 2K on High Settings (at stock without overclocking). It's as demanding as Call of Duty if not more. Something is being missed in your troubleshooting process.

Install Latencymon, start it, leave it for 30 seconds and post a screenshot.

It might also help if we could see several minutes of MSI AB stats. The fact the GPU can reach 99% with good CPU usage is making it very odd for you to get such low FPS. I suspect a hardware issue or obscure software conflict that maybe we can find with more info. Lastly, check game settings to make sure things like SSAA or render scale aren't turned on?

He often posts nonsense and he thinks all of his statements are unbreakable. Don't pay attention to him. Your CPU is up to the task for any game, as we can see in your pic, you have low CPU usage and high GPU usage, which is perfectly fine, your problem lies elsewhere. Are you for any reason playing at an upscaled resolution inside the game? Or maybe you are using DSR and the game is picking an giga-resolution that's killing your fps.
