Didn't try having less rear wing... Figured that I might need some grip since that track has quite many long curves where you need grip. Or perhaps it's just lack of skill for me. Going to try that later
Perhaps, I found it quite annoying since you have no idea when your going to loose grip. Anyways, 1.38.084 with Wing @ 7.
Got 1:39.977. Now I'm starting to regret not buying a wheel, since the only way I can accelerate out of corners smoothly is by staying in a gear higher than I would like to, or by furiously tapping the acceleration key, but that hurts my fingers. I'm still lacking consistency, for in about 5 hours on that track, I have successfully completed maybe 7 laps.
That might be possible with pad, I have heard that some people use it. But you really need wheel to really enjoy this game.
For anyone wondering what happened to the GTR 2 lobby the last few days... 10tacle went bankrupt last year and the lobby service was taken over by KGN and Simbin. The contract on the domains ran out a couple of days ago so the lobby went down. Simbin have released a patch which brings the lobby back up, but it looks like it'll take some time for all the people running servers to update their machines so the list is a bit empty right now. Are you guys hot lapping or runing an endurance setup? I can drop a 1.40, I never tried anymore than that because were I race we run 1 1/2 hour races, so I end up on Medium hard tires.
I'm assuming Monza in the 550? I hate the 550, just because everyone else uses it lol Or are we talking about Barcelona? I use super softs for qualifying and the race, but I always qualify with race fuel because otherwise I forget to fill the tank before the race starts :eyes:

Some bug perhaps, I had fuel for like 7 or 8 laps and it ran out Or my driving style eats loads of fuel because of spins and so... Might be the reason.
