Interested to see what they bois at stalker HQ can do with unreal engine 4. Ive not been that impressed with games coming out for a while now,. And I cant wait for Modders to port this to Unreal engine 5.
Fantastic news. With the new engine the modders will do terrific content. Can't wait to have this on pc. Really a great news. I like the graphics, looks great even in this stage of development.
So console launch exclusive, kinda worried that the game that used to be a PC exclusive and kind of leant in to that fact is going to get a serious retooling (and not for the better) just to get that sweet sweet MS money for being a 'console launch exclusive.' This should have been a no questions asked 'shut up and take my money' but seeing that it's got MS's sticky hands all over it though means it's going to be a wait and see.
It's not exclusive to any console...unless you mean it won't be on the PS5, it's still on PC...but microsoft doesn't own GSC, so really not sure what you are going on about. A game developer can make a game for PC and only one console and not have anything to do with the consoles manufacturer.
It's nice to see some familiar areas. (I wonder if anyone found my stash?) Nothing looked horrible, although that anomaly reaction at 0:53 could be done a bit better. At least this serves as some evidence that there is actually something happening at GSC. Despite looking rather good overall, I still think I'm going to miss the creaky, old X-Ray Engine. And, the "STALKER stutter."
It was part of the XBox showcase and prior to the trailer it had a logo saying console launch exclusive In case the link doesn't work correctly it's at the 39minute mark. I don't know maybe I've missed something?
well while i have no info at all maybe for Xbox they need to do almost nothing to port it ... it has capable graphics ... capable cpu ... and most likely uses a lot if not all of dx12 libraries etc ... so it might be boiling down to literally compiling an executable that the xbox can read and just pre choosing the settings like ...1080 60/120 fps and 4k 30/60 for xbox ... i might be way off though
