The problem is my xp came with sp2
ok, I finally got everything running like it should be
Sweet, what was the problem?
Well it was one of a couple wierd things. 1. I noticed I had my ROM drives on the Primary IDE channel which is traditionally reserved for hard drives so that may have accounted for some of the read errors I was getting when I was installing certain things from a disk. 2. I re-installed XP with just a single graphics card instead of having both in. and 3. I moved my mouse from the USB port and put on the adaptor for the PS/2 port. I don't know what fixed it but I'm juss glad its fixed cuz now everything is running how I expected it to.
I've got everything up and running but im noticing a lot of Java errors, any suggestions?
Sp2 is working fine for me, sounds like something on your end if your having problems while having SP2 installed.
nothing it rocks
really? really? lol
ya been hearing a lot of bad things about it from a lot of people but haven't heard anyone mentioning exactly what's wrong with it...so i dunno
btw phrozin your rig is so...makes me want to cry
lol its making me cry too cant get vid cards for at least a month
Did you install Java Runtime Environment? Since SP1a Java Virtual Machine was removed from Windows.
I don't get why peeps say that sp2 is bad.Its good for peeps that are stupid and have not protected there puter with firewall and virus software to get it enable it or shows were to get limited time try me software.Maybe hackers wish sp2 never came out.Which is a dead art not that cable wireless internet came around. My a64 3400 is OC to 3800 speeds and is a tad faster then a 3,800 mhz pen4.So good thing you got that mother of a system up and smoking.Do you feed the fx cpu 100 dollar bills or 50's/LOL
