I want the GPU to underclock when temp hits a certain value to avoid exceeding it. I'm gaming on a Aorus X7 v7 DT laptop with a 1080 GTX. I installed MSI Afterburner, the option was greyed out. I edited the MSIAfterburner.cfg in both the root directory and profiles, same issue. What next?

Integrated and mobile graphics cards are not officially supported. There was some OSD features added for iGPU's.

More info on that in Doc\ReadMe.pdf

So there aren't any other solutions to limit the temperature of my for my mobile GPU?

Apparently not. It's hit or miss with mobiles from what I understand.
