For Metallica I have to give it up to Hammett on The Four Horsemen right from 6:23 - 7:01. After twenty something years of hearing this song, I still cannot describe the "rush" after the few opening notes of that solo.

Edit: You know, every single solo on Kill 'Em All is unbelieveable including Anesthesia. I was just searching solos and just have to listen to the whole album once you start any part of it. After time this album becomes a part of the psyche!

But No Remorse starts off well with a solo that will rip your skin off.


Side Note: the band Artery Eruption has the fastest stuff I've ever heard.
