This isn't the greatest in a technical sense but it's definitely my favorite of all time. Just feels so incredibly good.

    3 Days by Jane's Addiction (2 solo's)

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FDsCm05TJ10&feature=related

Solo's at 4:40 to 6:40 and 9:25 to the end.

Also, by far my most favorite song of all times.

I couldn't choose. There's so many great solos that can send chills down my spine. From the blazingly fast and technical to the slow and soulful and emotional. Can't even begin to make a list of favorites.

I know a lot of people don't like the guy but Ted Nugent is underrated as a guitar player.

Some of my favourites solos and semi-solos are:

    Metallica - Master of Puppets
    Metallica - Nothing Else Matters
    Metallica - Fade To Black

Pink Floyd - On The Turning Away.
    Pink Floyd - High Hopes(Pulse)

ACDC - Thunderstruck (Intro but awesome "solo" nonetheless)

Audience - Raviole (Instrumental, awesome acoustic piece)

Iron Maiden - Fear Of The Dark

Jimi Hendrix - All Along the Watchtower

Led Zeppelin - Whole Lotta Love (Short but very powerful piece after the semi-instrumental)

Dire Straits - Money For Nothing (Short intro solo. Best listened full blast:p)

    Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody
    Queen - Innuendo

Yngwie Malmsteen - (Basically all his songs :))

The guitar face-off in the movie Crossroads between Ry Cooder & Steve Vai ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0090888/ )

There are still loads more, but way too many to list:D
