Rockstar Games officially announced on its website that Grand Theft Auto 5 (GTA V) is set for a Spring 2013 release. Unfortunately, the company only mentions the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, there's no word about the PC edition. More promo material is expected to follow next week.

No PC release date yet I yearn to play this game. I suppose I will have to go out of my way to ignore the game every time it is mentioned until it's released on PC.

Wasn't GTA:SA and GTA4 the same @ PC announcement? Took em a while to port the games over to PC but they do add graphical improvements.

This shouldn't be a port. We all knew what happened to GTA IV... We need something like Max Payne 3 which was developed in parallel PC/Consoles so as to have more compatibility and performance. Ports suck most of the time !

Actually, it has been that way since GTA III. as i've said countless time, they've been delaying the pc version for 11 years now. get the **** over it people.

Actually, the reason why Max Payne 3 was a good port, is because it wasn't a huge world like GTA. Which is why I'm a bit skeptical since GTA V
is supposed to be much larger and have more things than GTA IV. Sometimes people forget how much stuff is actually going on in GTA IV, and that it also was their first game on that engine..
