I played GTA5 for 50 hours, all of it single player. It was the first GTA game I enjoyed since GTA2. I don't want GTA6 to be online only. kkthxbai R*.

GTA Online would be fun, if you literally did not have to pay for stuff out of your own pocket basically.

Anyone tried Redux, NaturalVision and Simple Aesthetics? It's hard to tell from the youtube videos which is better.

I'm really trying to. Been attempting to get it working all day, but when I start the screen is all black for me. Followed the guide to the letter, I've been modding for years but for some reason this isn't working for me at the moment. Don't know if its an issue with RXVega and new drivers or what. Any ideas?

Anybody willing to try something out for me? I've been trying for days now to get the game looking as good as it can locked at 60, but have had medium to high amounts of stutter no matter what. After spending far too many hours testing every level of every setting individually, I *FINALLY* narrowed it down to the "Extended Distance Scaling" setting in the advanced settings menu. With EDS at zero, I can run the game at max settings (Very high grass, no MSAA) with 1.750 frame scaling and get a stutter free 60 FPS, with quite a bit of nasty pop in being the only drawback.

Then enabling any amount of EDS, no matter what the other settings are, will introduce increasing levels of stutter as EDS is cranked up. Even at 720p and low settings EDS will introduce the same amount of stutter as any other resolution and settings combination. Does anybody else here have issues once you turn EDS on/up? It could just be the game engine choking since my CPU and GPU usage sit between 50%-70% when the stuttering crops up. I've tried both 378.92 and 382.53 with stock NVCP settings and then with various levels of MPRF and types of V-Sync and/or frame limiting and it always comes back to EDS.

I'd love to play without the terrible pop in, so if anyone is willing to test it all you'd have to do is turn on or up the EDS and drive around for a few minutes. I should also mention that I've tried HT on and off. It was worse with HT off. Tried my SSD first and then my HDD. Obviously the SSD loads the game faster, but both get an amount of stutter equal to how high the EDS is set.

It says Natural Vision requires VisualV.
    https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/naturalvision-photorealistic-gtav
Does that mean Natural Vision is a mod for another mod ? Sounds quite clumsy..

Yes Natural Vision is basically a modded VisualV so you need to install Visual V first then Natural Vision.

I used Visual 4 for GTA 4 and it is a really good environment enhancement so V should be way better due to the better engine.

Nothing on the Rockstar support website yet, probably another online focused content addition but it can take a few hours for their support page to update with new release notes.

EDIT: There, took a little while but now the patch notes are up. :)

Nothing on the support site yet but I guess another large content to GTA Online is to be expected plus more bug fixes and tweaks. :)
