It's not about whether it will or not, it's about how soon. If it's not going to be till like 6 months later, then of course I'm going to buy a PS3 to play the game (among a few others I've wanted the system for).

Ok so GTA: Online looks ridiculous (in the good sense), but the real question is, how many players can we share our experiences with?

Consoles: 16 players

PC: 64???

That would totally change how empty the world would feel with only 16 players at a time.

PC: have you ever played an online game? WoW for ex? do you know hoy many users are online in each server? Lineage II?

peaks of 700 players online at the same time. Some games like FF online have up to 1500+ players per server.
It seems that GTA: V is one game and GTA: Online is another different thing.
Based ont he same game, but an exclusive full online open world.

Though I have enjoyed many online games on PC too, with more then 64 players at a time, don't forget the amount of (graphical) detail that's in this virtual world.
WoW for example is detailed in its own way, but GTA 5 is in a different league than WoW, than most games actually. So yeah I hope it will have a huge amount of players but thinking it will be thousands isn't exactly realistic Let's hope it will happen though!! :infinity:

 

Just Cause 2 with 1800 players. That kind of chaos in GTA5 would be sick.

 

Picked up a fully working Xbox 360 yesterday for £10 from my brother in law.
Only thing i need is a Joypad and GTA5 and im good to go

Yeah £10 from my wifes brother, he said its been sitting in the garage for months so he said i could have it for £10.

I would prefer a PC version though tbh over the console version. As soon as im done with the game ill sell the console just like i did with my PS3 back in 2008 when i completed MGS4.

Lucky, I have a GTA V PS3 bundle pre ordered and it's going to cost me about $280. Worth it though to play on release (and there's other reasons I've wanted a PS3 anyway).

Haha yeah it does feel like that at times but what gameplay is there is first class.
