What will be the DX version of the PC?

 

Considering it hasn't even been announced yet who knows? Or did you miss that part?

 

Does it matter? Upgrade your GPU!

 

It'll be DX9. I don't expect Rockstar to go beyond a minimal functioning PC port.

 

I'll wait for the PC version, the PS3 version will look like mud.

 

Well for me yes sir.Currently my income is pretty low so i cant afford a DX11 GPU.So i hope it will support DX9/10/10.1 as well so i can play that great game.

Thats what i think too.Judging by max payne 3 it must support lower DXs as well.Just hope my guess be true

 

DX 11 is backwards compatible with DX 10 and 10.1 GPUs so it will not be a problem if it is DX 9c or 11.

OC is selling 670 for £199 at the moment, need to pre order, dont get stocked until 5th of august!

 

GTX 670? How much is the 760 going for then? They're the same thing.

 

I didnt even know they released 760 they are going for about £220.

Well it's worth posting at least but I'm skeptical, we'll see.
(Since "systems" can refer to both PC and console so it might just be the various popular franchises coming out later this year.)

Anyone else think that Rockstar deliberately hold back info on the release of GTA on the PC to try and get a double sales whammy? They know the title is large enough that folk will buy the game on console so they don't have to wait and then when the console version is out they announce the PC version will arrive 6 or so months later expecting that a lot of people will again buy the game on PC because it 'will be a superior version.'

I'll admit I own GTA 4 on console and on PC but I bought the console version at release and then picked the the PC version up when it was dirt cheap in one of the Steam sales.

 

Of course they will try the double dip strategy.
