I don't think it will be, alot of work on the engine will done with the PC version Max Payne 3, and while its not the same people who do this, the work on the engine should benefit the PC version of this.

Here's hoping anyway, as the reason i never though the PC version od GTAIV was that bad a port, was because i saw how poor the console versions looked and ran, which clearly suggests it's an engine issue, and less to do with being a bad PC port, so i really don't wan't this on a console.

 

can't wait and hope it comes to PC, the kind of game i prefer to play with mouse and keyboard

 

Depends on the console i think. If its coming on the WeeU first (as rumored) it could be mad fun if it uses the new controllers well.

 

Yeah, true that thing is supposed to have a very powerful CPU, so it could run quite well, and the new controller could be fun, and also handy to use.

Don't know if i will get one though, not owned a Nintendo console in my life, only every borrowed other peoples, as i've never been keen on the games any of their consoles have ever had.

 

Would it be too early to actually hope for the video editor to make a comeback? :nerd:

 

Have to say I preferred mafia2 but in the end got gtaiv on the cheap with the extras and was great value for money.

Think i'll try and resist and get in on sale eventually.

 

Mafia 2 was good guys but GTA IV was better, can't wait for V, I'm actually playing San Andreas PC now as I've never finished it.... let the flaming begin lol

 

A PC version won't come out till a year later knowing Rockstar's history. Though i'm actually suprised, i didnt expect to hear about a GTA5 till at least another year or next console release.
No doubt its the exact same engine as gtaiv, hopefully they managed to eek out more from the consoles.

I'm just curious to see how it looks... I hope it comes out on pc soon after PS3 & Xbox.

I remember the pc version on GTA IV came out much later on the pc than it did on consoles...

 

well considering the first trailer for GTA IV was ingame, hopefully it will follow trend with this one. i cannot freaking wait!!

i hope its not set in LA style. i mean theres thousands of places around the world they could set this game and they keep goin back to the same areas. sure their grander than before but cripes, i'd rather see some variety in culture and architectures.
Hopefully they concentrated on details rather than such large scales. gtaiv was decently detailed, but definitely far from the places they modeled. but the series is starting to feel stale. chase him, kill that guy, go meet here. gettin old

 

Agreed. Activities were annoying especially Roman/Brucie and even more annoying that Bernie, what an annoying gay he was!

 

this game can run like sh!t for all i care. im getting it regardless. had way too much fun with the last one

 

Nice. If they improved Rockstar's Advanced Game Engine (im not saying rage cuz its confusing lol) a lil bit so it runs nice and smooth, it will be teh shizzle.
