Looks like the update just went live. 3.3gb

Edit: And now the game is having trouble launching, as expected. I'll check it out later.

OMFG!! So I got on a little bit a go and somebody was inviting for the diamond heist so I joined. He already completed the first three missions and opted for just two people instead of 4. This is all new to me and after a few deaths we were out of the casino on the road to freedom with over a million each in our bags when suddenly......the host left the game....

I don't think the guy intentionally left though, I mean this was right after the update and the game was still kind of unstable so he probably got disconnected. I mean this was a lot of money so I can only imagine how bad he was freaking out.

So I thought one of my cars had gone missing, my custom Vapid Flash GT was nowhere to be found in my garages, and not listed when calling the mechanic or mors mutual insurance. Submitted a ticket to Rockstar support and was credited 1.75 million dollars which was totally fair. So I then buy a terobyte and parked it in my nightclub basement per Paige's suggestion, and boom there was my missing car! I have no idea how it ended up parked down there lol. So I got a free terobyte and some extra cash courtesy of Rockstar. :D

I'm antsy for 6 as well. Rumor has it that GTA VI may be set in South America, following a bit of a Escobar / Columbia theme and possibly set in a shifting 70s--80s timeline. Maybe 2021/22.

Only way to get me interested in a new GTA... make a sequel to Vice City.
Vice City is the best GTA they've ever made, the characters, setting, time... all of it.

I would bet money that GTA 6 will be back in Vice City. 80's nostalgia and pop culture have been making somewhat of a comeback recently.

It's how it should be actually.
Not just because of the nostalgia or what not.

I hope GTA 6 goes back to the more actual open missions.. I'm pretty burned out with the "Play the missions like Rockstar wants you to do" playable movie approach..

Go this dot and we will draw you a path right to it because you're 5 and can't read maps
    Dialog
Ok follow this highlighted path that when reached a scripted scenario will play out again because you're 5 and can't figure out how to get there without us showing you the way.
Now, do as instructed in this very confined corridor of "freedom". Any deviation will result in failure
Make all the red dots go away, but don't you dare deviate from the way we want you to remove the red dots
    Rinse repeat

Rockstar has open world design down to a sick science, the story telling is out of this world.. The wall gardened missions though are tiresome and boring..

^ yep seeing in red dead 2 wh when the game arbitarily changes the rules in story missions leading to mass frustration when you been sandboxing for the last 20 hours. now your guns are gone, or your horse will not come, or some reason if you try and go another way fail, or try and stealth and do a mission perfect only to find your "fail" is scripted nm how well you do things.

forcing a few encounters or ramping up the ai response but do not change the rules of the game on me, its had me rage quit missions mid stream i was so angry.

I hated that.. Always made no sense.. Pre-Mission - I'm a walking war machine... Mission starts. Here is a rubber ducky, 1 worn out pistol, 3 sticks of gum and taxi voucher.. Don't ask where your weapons or horse went despite it severely breaking the illusion that you have any say in how this pans out..

Well that was a good week, bought a lot of new stuff. 2 motorcycle business with upgrades,(own all 5 now) 2 medium CEO crate warehouses, 1 vehicle warehouse, 1 Ocelot Jugular car with max upgrades (damn I love this car), and the best buy overall is the Buzzard helicopter. Makes CEO missions so easy.

Careful with all those MC Businesses, all the daily (45min) fees tend to add up. I made a new char just because i lost 50k $ every 45mins. It helps to join another session every 45mins (had a stopwatch running next to my pc) but in the end i couldn't be arsed anymore.

Now i run the weapon bunker, false dokument business, car theft, nightclub, crate storehouse, terrorbyte along with the buzzard as my workhorse.
Best setup ever and keeps the fees low. Cars & crates dont cost fees for example. Now i also bought the arcade for doing the new diamond heist along with the control center where you can manage all businesses from 1 place . Really awesome.
