Agreed, Viper.. had a team death match, aimining at a close object... see an enemy not far from me, I turn to him, the vision is still blurry... going slow. By the time I'm dead the screen goes sharp lol.

Guy was installing it on YT, and someone robbed his key and used it.

I have everything maxed out at 1080p and for a while 4xMSAA was fine, but once you start getting into the world view.. ie flying or skydiving and such, max settings at 4xMSAA really starts pushing it, so I dropped it down to 2xMSAA and its a good compromise.

This is on a 5820k, 16GB DDR4, GTX 980.

Looks like they just need to tweak/fix this more.

 

Hi guys, my friend having stuttering issues with i7 4790 + 290x + 16ram . He said he is getting high cpu usage around %80-85 mostly.

Any suggestions please?

 

Probably not CPU related. Make sure he isn't maxing out VRAM usage.

He's just not paying attention in the slightest, don't know how you don't know about steam popping up keys automatically.

 

lol such an idiot why would you stream it... come on, but on the other hand... you'd be thinking.. who could do something like that in under 20 seconds? .. He probably thought he was safe... but still, so stupid.

 

I highly doubt you'd find it so amusing had it happened to you. Poor guy and it was completely unintentional but a second is all anyone needs to snap that key up. Lesson learned I guess, don't stream and install. Hope he managed to play the game still somehow.

 

I've a couple more hours of downloading to go now! I hope it all works

The CD key button on steam only shows me the key for the cash dlc .. is this intentional? Max Payne showed me keys for the game and the dlc.

It happened to quite a few popular streamers too. And people have been saying Rockstar should give them free keys. Why? To promote stupidity?

Just ordered a code off ebay now. Delivery is 1-24hrs. Hopefully its nearer 1

 

Steam should change their system though.

Rather than pop up saying "this game needs a key to use it, here it is xxxx-xxxx-xxxx" it should say, "this game needs a key to use it, press shift tab and click this big button saying REVEAL KEY to find it out"

 

Does this game use SLI fully?

 

Yea it was a bit daft, but I kinda understand, we all enjoy unboxings of new hardware, guess he was doing the same thing

Hopefully he gets it back and the old key deactivated
