Yeah, i couldnt let him sit in the dark, while we enjoy this amazing game
They are saying in official forums don't download patch as it reduces performance?
Lol @ those speeds. Wish R* just let Volvo handle all these things while they focus on making games instead.
And now it's redownloading the patch all over again. :3eyes:
Downloaded a patch & now rockstar social cub wont launch.
Servers getting rammed, causing download and login issues.
I downloaded earlier and working fine for me atm.
Nice one Dorlor
NO performance issues with the new update.
Everything is the same.
Smooth as silk.
What do we change these values too?
Is this why as your driving/walking along the street and you can see the shadow magically appearing as you go along ?
If so yeah that needs fixing it looks crap !!!!
To those values above. Default is 0.930000 (start) and 0.830000 (end).
Mucho Gracias Amigo
I'm sat here with the finger on the trigger for a GTX 980 eVGA Classified. £550 just to turn up a couple of settings....
Damn this game why did you have to be so good.
I wish they patched the weird vsync bug which happens right after booting the game. It is remedied by alt tab but it's not fun when in big picture mode.
That wierd v-sync bug is crashing my game.
Whats the bug?
Where is this patch everyone is talking about? Does Social Club download it in the background or something? I haven't seen a patch download at all.
Steam just downloaded a 207.5MB patch for me.
Fixes the bug where the game would not start if your Windows account name was using non-standard (Standard being A-Z and such.) characters, might contain other fixes too as it updated a few other files besides the Rockstar Games Social Club and the games exe file.
love how paranoid ppl are about patch killing performance
A steam discussion also indicated that it fixed the launcher hogging CPU %
Didn't fix AMD laptop cards though, nope.
When you start the game, the vsync behaves as if you've set it to half, ie., game runs at 30 fps. An alt tab or cycling the setting back to On will fix it.
