Agree, the difference between default and extended draw distance is also noticeable for me (textures are sharpes, higher objects details).

Draw distance is extremely impressive in this game on max.

But something is wrong with MSAA in this game. Grass blade are way too thin, just look guys

One way or another, gta5 is the best looking sandbox right now:).

Crap or not...he is not a tech savvy...or a gaming genius of some sort...neither he is presenting himself this way. But I like his voice and british accent...and how he telling the truth about some developers and publishers bullsh*t which these fellas trying to feed their clients all the time. It's entertaining and witty...I like his jokes. Same goes for Jingles and all. Why? Out of curiosity, which channel you considering to be not a crap on utb?

I am going to wait till I get a new system (probably on 3xx releases) with 4k display, till I try this gem of a game out!

Interesting... how do I set a .exe to be high priority?

Only way I know is to run the game, then ctrl+alt+del, task manager and look for gtav.exe in processes. Rightclick to set priority.

By the way, noticed this eye-sore while walking the dog.

Is it from the San Andreas game? Only reason I can think of why it looks so bad. Why not make a new one.

In that thread there is an automated script to do that stuff though, I would use that instead of alt tabbing as alt tabbing seems to cause a memory leak and crash the game after some time.

Also, killing the launcher might crash the game.

And rockstar or AMD have still not acknowledged the AMD laptop issue.

I don't watch any of these "review" channels. I could really care less what somebody else's opinion of a game is. I'm the one playing the game, so the only opinion that matters is my own.

I should hope so - since this game is using several nvidia features, it would be wierd if they didnt.

There are people now who will literally not play a game until he gives the OK in a port report or first impression.

Personally I find some benchmark stats enough.

Course, I bought the game and its broken on amd laptops though.

Holy shizzle, i just looked at hardware data after a 5 hour playing session in gta 5.

Look at what the maximum physical ram usage is !

    http://i.imgur.com/yIdAyEy.jpg

Thats over 12gb ram used, with nothing but the game running! :O

I think i must have had the memory leak :S

Process Lasso ...kinda automated task manager with some few (or many for some) useful features which one can be too lazy to manual tweak it.

Yeah there is a memory leak when alt-tabing. It will be fixed at some point I bet.

Only in some scenarios am I glad I spent the extra cash on 16gb of RAM. This is one of those scenarios :nerd: I'm sure it will be picked up and fixed.

Speaking of a 4k screen mentioned earlier, can a 4k big screen TV provide about as good a visual experience as a 4k PC monitor? Or 2k vs 2k. A TV is bigger considering the biggest PC monitor is 34" to 39" I believe. And I think TVs have brighter and possibly more vivid colors than PC monitors?

I guess the consensus is a PC monitor is better for graphics because of the goodies it can show like bloom that a TV can't. But maybe for some of you a big screen TV gives an overall better visual environment.

Btw I'm playing GTA V on my system listed to the left on a 27" Samsung 1440 res PC monitor.
