    This isn't very accurate.

They used 980 SLi for 4K 60FPS. If they didn't want any frame dips to occur, then this means that 980 SLi is capable of at LEAST 4K 60FPS with details maxed. On a GPU-bound game, SLi scaling would be beyond 75% and closer to 90-100%. A 760 is 4 times weaker, so it would do the same details at 4K 15FPS, or details half as demanding for 4K 30FPS.

Why would low details definitely be half as demanding as the highest details? As far as I remember, that has never been the case in any well-made, scalable game I have tried. Rockstar have emphasized that this game is scalable so that you could run it on a wide range of hardware.

My guess is that a 760 might have been pulling 4K 30FPS at medium settings. Given that it is higher than the recommended card for 1080p 60FPS, which is a GTX 660, assuming that card runs that at close to max settings, it makes sense for a GTX 760 to run 4K 30FPS at Medium.

Anyways, we shall see soon. Only a few days now.

"People expected the PC version to be graphically superior to the PS4/Xbox One version, but nobody expected to be so blown away with such a staggering difference."

Ok so they're really catering to pc and that's nice and all but how about with their next title they release to PC the same day as console and not a year and a half later.

Oh yeah, cause all gpu bound games has 90-100 % sli scaling *cough*

Even great scaling engines such as cryengine doesnt scale 90+...

    http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/crysis_3_graphics_performance_review_benchmark,7.html

    690, which is basically 2 680s, does 51 fps at 1600p, while a single 680 does 30 - now im not a worldclass mathematician, but thats not 90+ %.

But honestly, id be happy if gta v has 75+ % sli scaling. Recent games such as unity has had very poor sli scaling, despite being an nvidia sponsered game.

I don't care what reviews show. I'm not talking about average FPS, where CPU is factored into the whole equation. I'm talking about instantaneous FPS e.g. you stand in a spot, get 50FPS with one GPU, 100FPS with two GPUs. CrossFire has been this way ever since I went CF, and it's that way with all GPU-bound games. I get double the FPS in the same spot. I'm assuming SLi is the same since SLi and CF are competitive when working with cards in the same tier (680 vs. 7970, 780Ti vs. 290X, etc...).

If anything, CryEngine 3 IS the engine that shows close to perfect scaling when talking about instantaneous FPS.

Don't worry, you're still a great mathematician to the world, if that helps.

Well thats the thing - cf and sli isnt the same :)

Cf will often give perfect scaling, while sli will usually give 70 to 80 % scaling... in bad cases, it will scale as low as 50%.

    Recommended spec = 1080p 60fps?

At what detail setting though? Most gpus will run a game at 1080p 60fps if you turn the settings down lower enough.

As for the 6.7gbvram. Maybe something to do with Shared Sytem memory being used? A new feature... or poor translation?

Supposedly its a combo of medium/high settings I read on reddit for 60/1080p.

Very much looking forward to this release - just did a slight hardware update to make it possible. Hoping and praying that V's launch is better than IV was. Seems likely to be the case, though!
