I would say they are the same sub-genre but hardly alike outside of that.

Ground Zeroes isn't exactly based in a living city though.
The games are similar, but not the same, and as i said it took twice as much rendering power to do GTAV on the PS4 than it did to do Ground Zeroes which is one of the rare 1080/60 games.

u mean the living city is what cuts the performance in half.anw hope it runs like maxpayne 3 since its based on the same engine.

Definitely, there is alot going on.

I'm confident it will be a better port than GTAIV, but i'm also expecting to have to cap my framerate to 30 if i want to max it.

Witcher 3 runs at ultra settings with 60 frames on a single GTX 980 and you expect GTA V to be heavier ? I don't think so..

From what I've seen, Witcher 3 doesn't look that impressive in the visuals department.

Both Witcher 3 and GTA V look good, considering they are open world games... I still think that both will be quite demanding at the very highest settings at 1440p+ resolutions. And depending on their mod-ability, we will see even better visuals in the future.

Watch videos again, it seems nice with clean visuals,it will be impressive when you will play it I think.

At your end..? Maybe you haven't change your specs on the left and..do you have the game already ? (or you just want to say that you like it)

Meant that from the screenshots I've seen - the visuals are pretty good :D

Looking forward to the game and are a bit sceptical that I can run it on my rig.

Probably. I wouldn't say "way", because we've seen neither in action yet; and after CDPR's comments about how all models and textures will be the same for consoles and PC, I'm not holding my breath. I do believe it'll be a great game, though. Already have it preordered; cause games aren't just about graphics.

I actually think GTAV looks better, but i always think Urban games are more impressive.

Neither game is getting pre-ordered by me, i see not point when stock isn't an issue these days.

I will probably get GTAV first though, i have yet to ever finish a GTA game but i always get my money's worth just messing around.

I did quite enjoy the previous Witcher games, but when you hate fantasy stuff there is nothing the devs can do to make you love it.

You have 3 290's.... I would expect you to get over 9000 fps xD

Our fellow guru makes a good point in his post In the LoF thread. Everyone seems to forget that this game will make use of the new and possibly extremely ****ty DRM - Denuvo. Wander what performance impact it will make. Top that with the delays and the need for at least two third party services needed to run the game and I’m starting to wonder why people are even waiting for the PC version.

What is the Denuvo Anti-Tamper solution?

Denuvo Anti-Tamper technology prevents the debugging, reverse engineering and changing of executable files to strengthen the security of games. It is not a DRM solution, but rather, Denuvo Anti-tamper protects DRM solutions, such as Origin Online Access or the Steam license management system, from being circumvented.

    Good for stopping hackers?

A lock for a lock is still a lock. Its presence should be disclosed on the steam store page. Anyway, I'm going to wait and let the prepurchasing guinea pigs take the hit as always lol. Hope the launch goes smoothly.
