for some reason i highly doubt that people will try to play it online right now if they pirate it as the single player is what gt has been about since day one. you don't need mp in gt.

 

Id be fine with SP..most of gt5P for me was time trials trying to crack into the top 100...Im like 112 and knocking on the door on a ton of courses with a ton of cars but just cant friggin do it...but Id want to know where I stand plus I want KY to get paid so Im waiting for the real version.

Yeah, fully agree, the DFP is awesome. I got a Fanatec 911 Turbo but I really do think the DFP is way better for accurate driving in track based games. The force feedback is really basic and harsh vs the Fanatec but that's what makes it so much more accurate when you're driving on the limit. Value for money wise the DFP rules.

But I need to stop reading this thread as I cancelled my pre-order and I really don't want to hear how freaking amazing this game is, I know it's going to be epic :cry:

Mine has been shipped so should have it tomorrow.

I read that you don't have to do the big install at the beginning and can choose to let the game install while you play.

Rather get it done at the beginning though.

 

Yup. What can you do in 50mins?

- assemble your FF wheel on a stable surface
- make a coffee
- read the manual
- think about how long you've been waiting for this moment
- do some pushups / other stuff to warm up your muscles
- send a sms to all friends demanding total radio silence for the next hours
- order 2 pizzas (1 when you get hungry again in 5 hours)
- open window and say goodbye to RL for now

 

well.. i'll read my apex book for more than 50mins.. so that covers well enough the installation

Im going to be a hermit with this game for a while (for gt5p I just do time trials and try to crack in the top 100 all the time)

BUT....

I need some psn friends so we can play now and again.... If anyone wants to race give me your ID's and come sometime this weekend we may be able to plan a nice race or two?
