If anyone was planning on buying a G27 for this game, may be worth checking out this deal, plus I think its probably one of the lower prices for the wheel anyway.

Nice deal, but only for 50 purchasers? :p

Btw my bro's G27 just 'developed' an annoying clunking sound when steered to the right. Guess its finally breaking apart after 6 months. Now i wonder if mine will even make it to the release of GT5 lol.

mine is not so silent anymore, not loud but definitly not like when it was new. when i opened it up there is a big black plastick frame that holds 2 big ball bearings and the motors this has a crack on the top from front to back and a plastic ring broke off the front of where the front bearing goes. kinda dissapointed that this happened. I just applyd some epoxy to the crack so it wont get worse and greased everything up real nice with multipuspose grease.

Mmmh sounds like what my bro has to deal with atm.

When he's steering to the right it feels and sounds like a broken bearing .... tac tac tac tac ... etc and you can feel it like something is 'jumping' from 1 space between the balls to the next space. Sorry, dunno how to describe it better.

Are there any good websites where ppl provide infos how to repair it? My bro opened it (while swearing around) so warranty went straight out of the window. :p

My G25 also has a clicky sound when I go over the standard wheel degree. Was annoying at first but got used to it.

its not the same problem, mine doesnt do any clack ,tac ,clik, just got a little bit louder on the sound it normally does. maybe he should check that the motors are tight. but once he got it open it would be easier to identify where the sound is coming from. the mechanism is fairly simple.

sounds like the springs in the main pinion(gear)

Lol loud... I said a small clicky, which I'm not even sure it's doing it anymore.

And thanks for the offer, I'll pass ;)

you wont be dissapointed, its very nice. What did was run all the wires neatly down one side covered with wire tubing and tie strapped to it down underneath then attached up the front top of the pedal box.

i then used a USB extention cable from the PS3 and attach that and power cable to where i have both ends attached to pedals....anyways, it works out extremly well for fast attach/detach.

I can't wait to have it mate, for the PC I can sort of attach the wheel to my desk, but it's pretty flimsy and you can't adjust it... for the ps3 well... I bought a little table thingy called table mate, but it's just too wobbly too, and so I'm hoping that once I get my wheelstand Pro, all will be a lot better, and I can just store the wheel under the bed which would be nice :)

It should be here before Wednesday.
