GT3 was the first one I played, and the last. I honestly am very excited for GT5. I remember playing a demo a long time ago for the first, but I just had too much fun with need for speed titles back when they were good.

Now that the NFS franchise was turned into a pos, I seriously can't wait for the return of GT.

I smell bull**** tbh, and if it does come out this month, it better be finished and bug free.

If it does, won't be able to play it though, will be in London with the missus for her birthday:bang:

i'm thinkin more like end of November.
For it to release this month, their damage modeling would have had to been finished at least a couple months ago, all code must be finished before final testing, then time package, market and ship to retailers.

This is just crap building peoples hopes up, i hope i'm wrong though, especially after being disappointed with Dirt2, NFS:Shift does look good though, as i need a good racing game soon.

after carefully viewing the 1080p clip full screen on my 32". looks too good to be true as far as what i'll actually see playing the game, i'd suspect CG as i dont see a hint of Aliasing and Prologue had plenty of it during gameplay. Hopefully the game will look this good and if it was DX11 on pc, i'd believe it but PS3? well if so, the PS3 has more power than even i gave credit for and gave it good credit for potential but i'm still not getting hyped up over it. Prologue wasnt that great, some stuff had a photo quality look to it but was fake psuado 3d mixed with blurs in other areas

Well IMHO they should make it 30 fps and this way they could have wayyyyy better graphics. By better graphics, I mean more AA and stuff like that. Yes, it's very jagged to be honest.

We all know it wont look as good as the videos, no racing games ever do, but im sure it will look better than any other console racer out at the moment, or near future.

I'm assuming Dirt2 and NFS:Shift on the PC will look better though.

Sorry to double post, but no way!!!!

I can't play a racing game at 30fps, it makes me angry, Prologue's framerate was spot on, and all the better for it, even Forza and Gotham Racing ran at near to 60.

In my opinion, Forza 3 looks a inch better in terms of shadow effects :D
