No, probably something with the drivers. It's not just gonna turn into a 216 model.

I think your card is the 192 version, the EVGA 216 version comes clocked slightly higher than 576 Core Clock.

See what RivaTuner says :p We all know RivaTuner is the most accurate. If that also says 216, you lucked out and received a 216 model :p

Foes, it looks like yours says 216(v.4.0) unified also.

    King-dubs, RivaTuner says 216sp

i would not be surprized if you did get a 216 packaged as a 260.
one way to make sure for certain......

Do you mean to open it up? I'll actually be removing the case early next week to install this:

So I could look through the inside. I would actually get a good look at the gpu, but not sure if they write stuff on it like they do with cpu's.

hehe a good start to the new year! :nerd:

Steven I am very interested to see how that goes. Is that the MCW60-R2? I am considering getting a basic loop in my new case and that is the VGA option I have opted for. Could you keep us posted?

I'll definitely keep you posted. I have everest so I'll be able to keep track of GPU/memory/VRM temps. I plan to do a 1 hour stability test on air and log the temps. Then do it for with the wc. So I should be able to post a good comparison for you. The waterblock is the MCW60 with a GTX200 adapter plate ( http://www.jab-tech.com/Swiftech-MCW60-GT200-GTX260-and-GTX280-hold-down-plate-pr-4294.html ). The heatsink is the Swiftech GTX200 Heatsink: http://www.jab-tech.com/Swiftech-GTX200-Heatsink-pr-4325.html
