Only available in blue or black why? Choice of neutral colours and/or a range of colourful options is generally the go. What if you favorite colour is red (which is apparently is very popular in mountain biking last time I check and found that it was very hard to get a blue mountain bike as they don't sell, blue being my favorite colour). When most of internet use is porn and Google does "Filter explicit results" by default a happy genius at Google decides to releases its big round back and blue internet routers to be put on display.
Much to expensive for what it is, at that price most people will either get a high end router that suits their needs, or an Apple Airport Extreme; I did the latter and couldn't be happier for it after years of dealing with routers from every maker that never worked properly (each had their own fun problems).
Agree that the router is way over priced for the market it is intended for. The product is for the plug n' play group. That is why the updates are automated, just like win 10 home.
