The counter slows down at 2050MB...
EDIT: it was @1MB/100sec
2050..not bad at all, i can upload more songs, and download em at school
Mine seems to have stopped at 2050MB as well.
man what more do you want?? 3 gigs???
come on when are you going to use these 2.05 gb???
Nobody said it would be usefull. In my opinion bigger attachements would be more usefull. (And it's 2,00195GB btw )
Also, I heard of a tool that allows you to use Gmail as storage space, like an online HDD. That could be a good use.
GMail Drive shell extension (Windows)
Gmail Filesystem (Linux)
Yep, that's it.
now I have 4 free gigs of storage!!!
Then technically i have 100 GB online storage
You would have 50 virtual hard disks then. How would Windows handle that? What would come after driver Z: I mean.
you would see gmail drive, gmail drive 2, gmail drive 3, etc?
But there is one problem I see with having GMail Drive and that is transfer times would take ages.
Of course, it is limited by your connection.
ha ! ha ! ha !
Up to 2055 MB and counting ..... counter running a bit slow though ........
Yea, that really sucked. I mean, the fastest transfer speed for a HDD is about 65MB/sec, which the Internet connection will never be able to acheive. Maybe after 100 years?
No it will be much quicker than that, maybe five-10 years. I remember reading about how they transferred a couple of gigs over a standard public network from one side of the states to the other in a few seconds. I'll try and dig up the link again.
I was a bit off but read this anyway it's even more amazing than what I said.
also recalling tcp/ip is a top secret project a few decades ago this one should take even less time
haha free internet at 1gb per sec
this is nice.... I can expect it when I´m 20 .... heh downloading all the ubercrap uverfast.... heh,..
