NVLINK is the replacement interconnect for SLI to be used with RTX compatible graphics cards, NVLINK bridge connectors you need to purchase. A couple of days ago we reported about the ASUS one, Gigaby... Gigabyte Releases Aorus NVLink-Bridge (with RGB)
These things are designed with the thought of: What's the minimum amount of copper that allows transferring 100Gbps within the error tolerance stated in the specs. And it's not a whole lot of copper, by the way, looking at the length of those things.
like iphoneX that build cost $400 but sold at $1000 price http://www.techinsights.com/about-t...xy-8-plus-apple-iphone-8-plus-apple-iphone-x/ technical-wise the distance is short anyway, its not like 10meters 40gbps lan cat8 i bet it build cost not more than $5
I am still surprised these bridges are not included with the GPU. Have the RGB ones for sale for like $30-40.
What about some RGB screws for my RTX card? I am willing to pay as much as 100$. I am also playing with the idea of changing the gfx card shroud colour. How much is that? Yeah, lets pay for everything, cause, why not.
Wouldn't make sense to include it with a GPU. You effectively buy 2 gpu and then have 1 bridge with each purchase. Which also means 1 bridge is unusued. If anything, they should include these with your Motherboard purchase meaning, if its hard pcb, you get the right slot gap from the start. There are still many who don't know if their GPUs are 2,3 or 4slot gap design even after looking at their board.
