My eVGA 560Ti does 950 without much effort.

I think you have the 1Ghz SOC version confused with the "regular" OC 900Mhz edition here. And they backed down the SOC card to 950Mhz now so shouldn't be any problems at all.

Yeah I could probably go higher with mine, but I'm fine where its at. Any brand shouldn't have a problem hitting 900.

I am also thinking about gettin the SOC version as some of u seen in my other thread.. there are a number of place where the SOC is sold out n re-stock is in May.

Does this mean that they are waiting to fix this issue?
or has gigabyte discounted the product?

Anyone got any benchmark of the 950mhz n 1ghz? I cant seem to find anything on the net

What issue? They ran out of card capable of a stable 1Ghz. We'll see if they get more. I think Sparkle Calibre is expecting 1ghz cards too.

the voltage issue... have they recalled the cards that have the issue?

So basically... is it safe to get the SOC?

It should be as they've reduced the soc to 950 MHz on the core.

Recall? Where did you see that? I could be wrong, but I don't think anything was recalled. They just had a very limited stock.

I think someone gave you bad information about the SOC's. I have an SOC 1Ghz and its a great card. Zero issues while gaming. I would not trade it for another 560. However, I'm not sure you can get a 1Ghz card anymore. Looks like they dropped down to 950MHz.

The gigabyte GTX 560 ti soc was sold in such small numbers that there probably was no need for a recall, infact most suppliers were left on pre-order before it was scrapped altogether for the 950 MHz version.
