We ate only a day away now from the release of the GeForce GTX 780 Ti, as such stores and etailers already have information on them. Often then pictures start to surface on the web. As such, meet theÂ...

at this stage I'd go £550 for a vanilla, any more and I'd just grab x2 780s.

I wonder if Gigabyte will do a Windforce OC model..
Surely they will, yeah? Coz that's actually what I was counting on getting.

I thought that the 2880 cuda cores version of Kepler was named GK180...:)

The new R290 beats the 780 and is £100 cheaper. For once im actually thinking of going AMD for once.

In my case I'm not paying more than /600euros when we can get an already powerful 780 for 420-450euros. No sir.

A positive guess is that it will be a bit slower at two stock 670. Just a bit.

But run those 670@1100-1150 and it will not even touch them.

But a single gpu coming close to that... Even close to a 690... Its just...

Imagine what Maxwell will bring... :D

Same here. I was reading again the 290 CF review yesterday and I was like... Damn so much power... For like 720 euros.

vet don't do it in my testing's i had 2x r9 290's that i sent back because crossfire frame pacing is still far from sli smoothness, it gave me a quick reminder why i turned to nvidia in the first place.

This has been my experience with CF every single time I have tried it.

I tried 7970 CF twice (and pretty much every gen of AMD card since CF has been around) and the difference between 7970 CF and 580 SLI/680 SLI was almost night and day (raw FPS just don't tell the story, you really have to experience it first hand to understand the problem).

It was a good thing when HardOCP and Anand called AMD out on CF and I know AMD are trying to make it better, but as it stands, if you are going multiGPU I would stick with SLI.

Ok mate thanks for the headsup mate, that is one thing i do not want to happen. Being alongtime Nvidia user your bound to notice it. Tbh mate im probably gonna hold for Maxwell although im itching to upgrade now:)

if they do a 790 get it :D coming from a dual gpu it would be your best upgrade, if you do not mind two cards, two 780's are awesome :pc1:

Yes ill consider the 790 depending on the price / performance ratio. However if i buy 780 Ti's i will still want maxwell so i think ill "try" to hold out.

Lol at that retarded price ide rather get 2 290 non x for crossfire and would only be 100$ more. Even a 290x when after market coolers arrive im sure will beat this.

Well last time I check the 690 tops almost EVERY game, even at 25x16. So I believe you can hold out pretty well. :D

Especially with the AB voltage mod that is possible on the 690! ;)

Hilbert "eats" anything he's thrown at...!
