    @Hilbert does not the X550-AT2 have 2 MAC controllers connected to PHY (10G each). Is there lane split internally to support 4 10G ports?

    Awful design, looks like a graphics card from the 90s. Is there no way they could've made this without a fan?!?

    These cards do run pretty warm, I have a dual intel 10gb card in my server and that gets to around 45-50c on the heatsink, so fan might be wise choose on a 4x 10gb card.

    yep^....not all cases have good airflow/ a little fan can do wonders.

    Can you bind together those ports into something similar to Port/Ether Channel ?
    Also, what's the price of this?
