I had a scroll around and found another one of the grids, there was a wind farm there. But some of the other structures, such as the "airfields" are in strange places. They appear to be built in the paths of rivers, deltas and flood plains.

My theory is China is moving energy and waste management to the desert. Good idea really, take advantage of otherwise useless land. But some of the other ones I have no idea.

Take a look, it's like a modern day Nazca line.

Saw these earlier, for the most part there is nothing suspicious about them:

You can find similar places in the U.S., here for example was where they tested underground nuclear weapons:

This got me thinking of what I found one day a while back on Google Earth.
Have a look at the following co-ordinates.

    24.714502,54.984069

Just found a thread @ http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread702163/pg1 about them.
In the end of a long discussion about water storage constructions its still all
a bit odd as they are bigger apparently than their design states.

I'm leaning to the idea of an Evil Genius bunker complex lol.

those are bomb test sites, as you can see the structure are put in circles so they can study the effect depending on the distance from blast point.
now for what kind of bomb they're made for, that's the question. wonder if there's some truth behind scalar weapon

    I've been thinking.

The "nuclear test site" is too small, it's only a couple of hundred meters across. Anything in that area would yeild no usable data. I'm thinking the "airfields" built in front of what looks like rivers might be an experiment to see how infrastructures hold up in the desert.

It's also quite obvious the grids are wind farms. You can find smaller farms with foundations and fans in place.

That was physically painful to read. I made it two paragraphs.

Nobody* wants to put weapons in orbit due to the dangers of debris clouds forming. Only certain geocentric orbits around the planet are stable and it does not take much for them to become unusable. Man-made debris in space moves at several thousand miles per hour and a fragment the size of a small screw on your computer case is capable of destroying a satellite. Due to the velocity and small fragment size, even a little bit of debris can render a large area unusable.

*In USA/Europe; can't speak for Asia but it's likely the same

oh really ? ;) this is the former head of the US star war program, Dr Bob Bowman.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSWY6CE3-BM

you should hear about what kind of weapon they got up there.
oh and btw, this was close to 20 years ago, i let you imagine what they got now.

Oh yeah I'll take this guys word for it

Not being a catholic I actually had to look up what apostolic succession means. Care to join his religion ?

On the other hand I could look at the numbers myself. It does not take very long to realize the truth of what I stated if you bother with the science instead of taking somebodies word for it. Here's the NYT writeup , and here's a quick GS if you want to do some reading.

this guy was the HEAD of the program, he worked for the US gov, you couldn't find someone with better knowledge on the subject than him.

just look at his bio on the link you gave yourself, does the fact he goes to one church or another change anything to the matter ?

i don't think so. but you should hear about what kind of weapons they were develloping back in those days already.
