Man I really want to play this. It's really a shame that this isn't coming out on pc. All this exclusiveness needs to die out.

Looks good, but.. dunno I'm the oppositive of the Japanse culture lover gamer cliche. Finding it hard to be attracted by the theme - to the point I wanna click skip on every video of this (this and that other FromSoft game seem to have that effect on me) I encounter.
I do like good games tho regardless of theme when i actually get to play them, so if the core game is good I'll enjoy it, even if the Jap stuff is just making me fall asleep in video form.

If you are not emotionally moved by this small clip from one of the most beautiful films ever made ever, let me know to send paramedics round, to make sure you are alive.

The use of color to thematically tell a story has never been done more accurately and intricately than this. Each time the story is told using a different perspective, the colors of the characters change, as does the setting. It really is a work of art, yet is in direct service to the different layers upon layers of character choice and emotional charge.

The people behind ghost of tsushima understand these concepts and I have complete faith in them.

So much so, I may even break my own rules for pre-ordering.

From me, there is probably no better statement.

I think a read somewhere that this game will not even be on this generation of consoles. Most likely a PS5 title.

    Hope I'm wrong though...

depends on when it comes out i guess if it this year, the farther out it is the more likely it for the next gen systems or both next gen systems and current

The new PS4 Pro chipset does not have this. Mine is whisper-quiet.

Opposite of what I been hearing from people.

MGS:TPP logo menu are notorious for have coilwhine, so is the ACC and in game menu's, it was terrible on 7015b/7115b, and MGS:TPP was only game I had that it was horrid in, hell this coil whine is present on the 1115a I have too, but its almost slinet and as such ignore able, but all Pro games had it in someway when I was testing and even quietest of those pro games is 2 times louder then what 1115a produced in MGG:TPP and the coilwhine in MGS:TPP on PRO 7015b/7115b was easily 3 or 4 times as loud, some game people reported there are pro game that are even worse, Think battlefield 3 was one them and starwars battlefront.

And no it was not the fan, this was noise heard when the fan silent, which changed in pitch and tone instantly depend what what happen on the screen, aka coil whine ( can easily be described by some as fan hitting something, or click tapping that changes in speed and tone instantly, which fan cant do isntantly)

IF Pro goes on sale and I have money on hand I might try again, but ps4 is endlife so PS5 might be announced soon, maybe but 399$ isnt happen, When I original got pro i got for 350$ but 4 exchanges later 2 7015b and 2 7115b I said not gona deal with coil whine on the magnitude the pro had and returned for full refund.

Maybe the new fiqure 8 power cord which means new power supply has reduced this or even fixed it but, I have not tested it personal no have that 399$ on hand to go find out.

you welcome to test MGS:TPP and see if the coil whine happens and let me know. cause but most people I ask that had and knew about 7015b/7115b and prior models coil whine said it still there.

    CUH 7216B - no whine.

I also use Crucial MX-500 SSD, which might be a contributing factor to the lack of noise - but I doubt it.

edit:edit: I also have Supersampling switched on and 'boost mode' enabled.

Well that bolds well for when I actual get around to picking a pro up again. I could careless about fan noise frankly ps4 fan wasnt quiet and the pro fan wasnt much better that I can deal with, Coil whine on other hand I cant sadly my tinnitus and OCD wont allow me to put up with it. HDD noise to me isnt even in same ball park as coil whine, and noise from the HDD was never an issue to me.

Sidenote I would love to stick a SSD in my PS4, would have to be atlets 1 TB which isnt enough imo would need atlest 2 tb of PS4/PRO but pricing need to come down some still 1 TB is still over 100$ which still to pricey imo. Only reason I swaped out my 500gb in my pc for 1tb 860evo was cause that HDD was going and really need to be replaced before it actual did and the 130$ for it was deal.

Ghost of Tsushima and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. are the 2 games I want for ps4, im sure they will be out on pc too at some point

You can get a budget SSD for less than $100. 960gb from ADATA will do it - and lets face facts here, it's only going into a games console, and so long as it has a decent cache and is SATA3...job done.

Saying that, if you really want a 'premium' SSD, well, the MX500 is only $40 more for a clean 1TB. That $1 per GB extra for that premium peace of mind.

    Think about it...
