GF4 TI4200 Drivers

Hey all,

what do u think is the best driver for a GF4 TI4200 ?
I've got a AMD Athlon XP 2000+ and a GF4 Ti4200 with 128 MB ram and 512 MB DDRAM and not 100 FPS in Counter Strike....I think i use a bad driver...So whats your idea which driver i should use ?

HI!!! I don't know about benchmark and FPS but i experimented some drivers for the TI4200. This card is for DirectX 8.

I tried the 44.03, 41.09, 44.67 , the strarstorm 53.03, the detonator 52.16 and the omega 45.23a.

THE BEST for me is the OMEGA 45.23a!! TRY it!!

your wrong.. try the 44.67 (betas)

 

for a geforce 4 stick to the 44.xx drivers for best performance - the 44.03 did me proud!

Best driver for Dx 8.x Games is Omega 44.03,
But If you want to Enable the A.A/A.F, Then 56.72 Is the Fastest for these Settings, Also it's Fast for DX 9 Applications.

 

I vote also for Omega 43.03 performance mode.
I tested before 44.67 beta but look like I was without glasses

with my experience with sort of 4x drivers with my ti4200 i saw that halo game looses some effetcsshoot effects gets worse or disappears.i want u to know it.

 

what is A.A/A.F? Is that something for 3D Graphics? I have this card and I would like to get into top shape to be running 3D Apps. It works good now but I would like to turn it into a Quadro like many people have recommended.

 

Detonator 43.45 are fastest for me in some older games like UT2003 but the quality in newer drivers are better and performance drop isn't big with them so I use ForceWare 61.12. With this drivers FarCry (patch1.1) fly.

 

I used Omega 43.45's for ages as they delivered the best for older games, but for the newer games, its Omega 53.03 in xp and 56.74 official forceware drivers for Windows ME

 

I'm using 44.03 driver and it's the best 4 me. Now I'm going to try 45.23a. I'll write results.

 

With 44.03 drivers in 3D Mark 2001 SE I've scored 9150 marks,
with 44.23a - 8722 marks.

I knew that 44.03 is the best 4 my PC.
