    Hello all!

So just looking for some input.... I am considering getting into rendering 3d models. Are there any good starting resources to get me on track towards working towards this goal?

    Feedback welcome.

If this is very vague, please feel free to ask any questions you want and I will do my best to answer them.

Thanks in advance for your help!

RealityCapture has a demo which allows full use of their software, except from exporting models

Take a load of photos of something from different angles / heights, load the photos up into that, and it creates a 3D model from them

Very impressive, very simple to use

Take a fair bit of processing power and time though depending on the complexity and number of photos

Agisoft Photoscan does a similar thing
