I here ya Jae-So, I just can't pass on a cpu with over 10,000 performance marks for benching.

dude QX9650s are syk, we'll have nice systems for a while, these are benchmarking CPUs haha, I wonder how the 4-6 core Sandy Bride proccys will compare to ur QX950 and my i7, will it be worth the upgrade

bro I`ll tell you the truth for the most part, I really cant tell the difference between my e8400 rig at 4ghz and this rig. they both have the same memory and video card, hard drives, case etc

fair enough, I personally upgraded from a crappy Phenom 9850, man the difference in games (especially the crossfire scaling) was like night and day

Yea, you truly wont be able to tell the difference unless you do alot of photo image editing, 3d rendering, and video conversions etc.

Games you cant tell much of a difference because at 4ghz its higher then a i7 980x with turbo boost on.

there is chips for all kinds of people out, this is just 1 more.

    i like 920 i have...it took me 3 chips to find that thuo.(1000usd)
with these qx type chips its too much money to search for a good retail 1.

I'm considering buying one of these beasts, but I'm a bit wary... I'm already running a Q9650@3.8, will I really see a huge performance difference in gaming? Perhaps it will be worthwhile to eliminate the potential bottleneck when the new nvidia gpu's drop? I'm also concerned about the DDR3 1066 limit...I want more RAM bandwidth than that! Any thoughts?
