Get 32-bit Vista support 4GB or more

    Straight Cut and Paste.Youre probably wondering why I picked a number as horrible as 3.5GB Why not 4GB Well theres a really technical explanation for this but to make a long explanation short 32-bit...

    Can someone try this?

    I would like to see someone that has 4 GB of memory and running a couple of 512 MB cards in SLI mode to see what memory is available to the system and what influence it has on the OS performance?

    The PAE tehnology is nothing new. It was actually introduced with PentiumPro.

    The fact that it's not automatically enabled in Vista 32 bit speaks a lot about it's real usability factor.

    Its even called something else forgot wat...

    But most hardware enthusiests know why and how 4gigs doesnt show. or ever will

    Yeah, I'd agree... I don't think it's very stable/reliable... JMO though...

    There seem to have been made some core changes to how the non enterprise versions of windows (post SP2) handles PAE. Read the thread i linked to.
