GenL Hybrid PhysX mod 1.04ff out for grabs!

    http://physxfiles.com/PhysX-mod-1.04ff.rar

    Release notes
    1.04ff - 29/06/2010:
    - removed support for fixing GeForce driver binaries as current 256 series don't need this (dropped support of all older 19x series drivers)
    - added support for fixing a new limitation in PhysX System Software, introduced in 9.10.0223 (aka 9.10.0528 / .0529)
    - added extra optional command line files (nvsvc and PhysX related)
    - removed most of gfx/sfx stuff (the mod is now tiny and no more requires 96dpi mode)

Works with WHQL GeFOrce dirver 257.21 (June 15, 2010) and with latest BETA GeForce driver 258.69

works well with new drivers, hopefully physx mod 1.05 will be even better and will be able to enable 3d stereo with my non nvidia 3d shutter glasses... would be brilliant :) thanks.

I test new mod on 257.21 driver and something wrong:

But when checked GPU-z there are physx checked on both card. so this error is normal or whats happening?

Best drivers up to date are latest WHQL 257.21. Another good thing about this release is that you don't need to enabe fake display attached to Nvidia GPU to turn on PhysX, it also doesn't appear when PhysX app is launched. In other words, it's completely gone - hence less compatibility issues :)

    You test it?

Yeah, I did, works as it should. I also confirm that it works with latest PhysX release 9.10.0224 with no issues.

it's ok, if i check physx presence by 3dmark vantage and gpu-z? Cause i installed 258.96 drivers without physx mod 1.04ff and gpu-z shows that i have physx installed and in vantage physx tests working ok!

Guess some work without it !?!? I know an earlier one did, but I was under the impression NV 'corrected' it, but if newer ones work then....cool :D

i don't know for sure, cause no body said that new drivers works with out physx mod again! I used it and checked for any changes in fluid mark and mby i was wrong, cause when i first ran it, i unlocked emitters, and there were still only 2 (but actually i don't remember), but with physx mod, it unlocks all! i'm confused a little bit)
