If you can remember, a while ago, we have seen a similar posting, also based on a prefab Lenovo PC. This round, however, Alternate was listing a prebuilt BC, with again an unannounced GeForce RTX 30... GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Gets Listed on Pre Built Lenovo PC from Alternate
And an other sold out edition graphics card by nVidia. That card with 16GB of vram will only land in miners hands. Probably most of them will not even reach any countries outside of China.
It's hard to get excited for hardware anymore, I would like to buy a new video card but u all know by now.
I'm honestly seriously thinking about buying a PS5 and stop caring about PC gaming for a while outside of clearing my Steam and EGS backlog. I have a 3k monitor and my current PC is borderline at 3k and there's no reality where i'll be able to upgrade for the next year or maybe even two.
I've toyed with the thought, however It's not like it's easy to get your hands on a PS5 either. And besides that, I have a very crap TV but a new (as in bought just before Ampere launch) ultrawide g-sync monitor that could use some RTX love... Either way, as I've said before, there has never been a time more "right" then now to quit gaming. It's like trying to sail against the wind.
I could order a 3070 immediately from a usual store and have it in a few days, chosen from four different models, but I feel like 950-1050 euros is outrageous, to say the least.
Much worse than that. Been browsing a bit around for cards from local webshops, only thing I can find in stock are some workstation cards and very low range ones, even the previous 2 gen cards seem to be of the shelves. Looking at preorders for newer models, there are more people in queue than what shops list to get within the next couple of months, heck some cards still have a listing of zero arrivals in the near future. Also a bit weird that one of the biggest etailers got as few of this gen. models as they did. Regarding som official statements by Nvidia, AMD and their partners that they didn't expect the demand is utter bs, since supply is lower than demand in the past, they really want us to belive that they thought demand for new cards would be less all of sudden? Would really suck for anyone to have a card stop working atm. unable to get an replacement for x months.
