    400 USD,
    lol, no.
This has gone for too long, I know AMD will release high end first and hope they don't get too greedy...

400 for the xx60 serie is the new norm, i do not want to happen.
350 for the 1650TI seemed too much for me also.

funny how everyone expects stuff to cost the same, forever.

how about the price for entry in "top series" chip like the FX 81xx (180$),
    now im paying +310$ for a 3700..

do you guys also expect to pay the same for everything else?
show me more than three common things of everyday life, that didnt increase its price in the past 10/20/30y?
avg house in europe was 50K in late 70s and now its 250K, cars that were 50K are now 150K (911 turbo),
food and many other things the same..

Seems like a big line up: 3090, 3080, 3070, 3060Ti, 3060... Matbe a 3050 option in the future as well? IMO it's too many options. The lower we go, the harder it is to find the best bang for buck.

With the way this launch has gone my excitement for this has definitely calmed down. Think I'll just wait till early next year when everything has settled down, plus I'd like to see how it does in some early XSEX games like AC Valhalla and Dirt 5.

AMD raised the mainstream CPU prices by 50 dollars, so I wouldn't hold my breath. If they aim for lower prices to gain more customers, it's not lower by much, I think.

Raised? That's the thing. First gen Ryzen cost as much as 4th gen. Be happy they asked less for previous gens.
I think AMD will cost as much as nVidia if they provide the same perf.

But when the 1060 launched, 299, now they want $400 for the same bracket card, naw F8CK Nvidia. Their price hikes are intel level greed.
Doesnt help the fanboy buys their crap regardless.

And you are also comparing an FX chip that was rather slow for its time. That really was a 4 core/8 thread chip vs an actually 8 core cpu. You are not very smart at all.

The 3060 Ti is a bargain compared to the 3070. $100 less for some pretty minimal losses.

400€ for a 3060Ti??? Is everyone insane? GPU prices are getting crazier with each release. What´s next, a 3050 for 300€?!

I blame ray-tracing for making video cards far too expensive we went from 250ish usd 1060ti (200mm2 die) to now 400usd 3060ti (392mm2 die) so double the die size even with a process shrink i would like to know how much of the die is wasted on ray tracing that cant be done acceptably (I only say wasted because in the majority of cases ray-tracing performance will not be enjoyable enough to use properly)

If AMD releases a Ryzen 5 5600 at $220, as rumored, it will only be a $5 increase over the Ryzen 5 1600 which was around $215 at launch.

Maybe a paper launch....but there won't be much, if any, availability unless NVidia can get their supply issues fixed....
