LOL at people like you. People said AMD couldnt even get within any touch of intel, then ryzen came out and turned the CPU world upside down.
People said AMD was dead after GTX 580 gpus came out. The HD 7970 came out and kicked ass, and then once again Nvidiots/AMD haters said AMD was dead when OG Titan came out, and R9 290/x came out and brought the same if not better performance for half the damn price.
And honestly, only complete fools and idiots buy into any hype.

Hell people said ATI/AMD was dead in the water then HD 2900XT came out, then the HD 3870 and then the HD 4870 launched and killed it in its performance bracket.

And yes I will say it, I dont care who does not agree, but Nvidia is turning into a greedy ass evil company. And need to fall on their ass. I dont want them to fail and be gone, they just need to be humbled again, and so do their moronic fanboys.

dont rush guys.I will wait to see if the AMD rumor is true or not about $250 card that is similar with 2070 performance and in either case I wont study the games reflections or refraction I just wanna play at high fps.

1070-Ti performance at 150-200$ less, i don't know why people are already complaining.
If it's just for the reference name XX60 this is merely marketing naming, you can still get a 200$ GTX1060 and have a good time on 1080p at least.

1 month ago AMD released the RX590 which cost 279$ and deliver performance clearly below GTX1070, from this perspective this RTX2060 sounds like a relevant deal.

True but that Green Logo is the reason why people will buy overpriced products even if there's better alternatives (e.x. HD 3870). Unfortunately there's no way for Radeon to beat Nvidias mindshare we can only hope for something groundbreaking but even then history will repeat itself...

Of course we are. You keep mentioning that an overclocked 980Ti can match a GTX 1080 while deliberately omitting the fact that overclocking the GTX 1080 too would widen that gap pretty much back to where it was. It's not like the GTX 1080 is hard to overclock either. Comparing an overclocked card to a stock one when both are pretty much at the same difficulty (easy) to overclock is misrepresentation.

yeah 590 price is making it a bad choice 1060 6gb and 580 are better choices . Also i saw 570 8gb at around 170 euros new ... making it the best midrange deal on the New market .... that alone making the 1060's 1050 ti 580 and especially 590 a no go deal ...

now to the price ...so pretty much nvidia ... bump the prices up 1 tier .... the 2060 comes out on 1070's msrp .... the 2070 on 1080's the 2080 on 1080ti and the 2080ti to the titan price ...then introduced a new tier above for their new titan ...

Not only that I don't think a 2060 could handle RayTracing @ 1080p @ medium settings. So if anyone would purchase a 2060 for raytracing they would probably have to use low settings @ 1080p or lower the resolution to 720p.

I just bought a Xbox one X. Love it! Working on 2 PC builds atm too. Nvidia can shove off. My 1060 I paid 180.00 bucks for new (end of 2016) is the last nvidia product I will ever buy. Unless I find a killer used deal.

When Nvidia sits in front of the judge I want to hear them utter, "It just works".

DOES MARCELLUS WALLACE LOOK LIKE A $%^&*?!

1070ti does not worth the asking price. Actually 2070 is just 50$ more and thats silly. Its like they bumped up the price so you you are only left with an rtx.

From what I see on our shops 2080Ti is mostly sold out. There are basically 2~3 out of 20+ non-blower designs available. And then there are like 2 blower designs available on stores.
I think nVidia manages to sell every working 2080Ti silicon.
With 2080, situation is similar, 10~13 out of 35 designs are available on stock, rest you have to order and wait in queue.
With 2070 , there are 33 designs and 8 on stock.

We are going to see how well RTX do in terms of sales (revenue) in Q4 financial report. I expect high revenue, but not so good profit margin.

Intel is the evil company, not Nvidia. When you look at Nvidia's products over the years, they have made giant progress from generation to generation, offering consumers (and pros) better products time after time. They aren't like Intel with their disgusting "four cores is enough for the mainstream plebs forever" policy with zero progress. It's another question whether people are happy with Nvidia's prices, but at least you know you get a better product. This latest generation is only troublesome because Nvidia decided to stop the usual purely more raw power approach (probably because they were leading the race already so handily) and instead offered something else that most people might not see the immediate benefit of. And charge the premium for it. Does that make them evil? I can't see how. Greedy? Maybe, but like I said already, you at least get something for the money paid, even if it's currently of limited use.

TBH, I think Nvidia is/was being cautious re RTX production. Its a risk to have a high priced product line that only marginally beats the last one. Plus having been encumbered with excess inventory from the last line, last thing they need is to mass produce RTX and be stuck with more excess inventory due to poor reception. That imo is why some models are out of stock or have to wait in queue for orders.

I think they build to meet certain revenue and profit expectations. That's what CFO should be aiming for and board of directors will not allow to be low.
Apparently, from nVidia's revenue map, gaming is more than twice the size on revenue than datacenter. But datacenter has much higher profit margins, therefore Gaming gets much less GPUs in case datacenter is not saturated. And nV's revenue from datacenter is getting bigger every quarter. Maybe in Q4 datacenter goes over 1/2 of gaming revenue. That would be big jump.

People are complaining because Nvidia is increasing their prices across the board for this gen with no apparent reason... The 60 and 70 series were the sweet spot for gamers in terms of cost/performance but with those kind of prices that has changed and that sweet spot is disappearing...
