350$? with raytracing cores? I'm really confused about this product.
Performance seems to be very close to the 1070Ti which I didn't expect but this price changes the "60" consumer target.

I could buy Vega 56 SAPPHIRE PULSE for 350 right now and have fun with 200$ less expensive freesync

Same happened for RTX 2080 (supposedly starting price $699) and then the price climbed...

As a freesync user i don't care about NVIDIA tbh , but if they (yea right) will start to support freesync to then yes , since they have the better(and more expensive xD) products.

What else would they do with defective GPUs?

The release of this card presents an odd dynamic to the graphics processing industry. At an NVIDIA projected initial street price of around $300, this card outperforms the ATI flagship HD2900XT in most situations, and even NVIDIA's own 8800 GTS 640 MB (previously priced at an MSRP of $400).
From the good old days ! when the second card in the tier was 300 euro

350€ is a bit too much. Although performance is not that bad. Expected worse to be honest.

$350 is going to be 450€.
The price of hardware is getting insane tbh, I can get a console for that amount of money and don't need to worry about upgrading for a couple years.
Unless AMD pulls a rabbit out of the hat, I'm going to be looking for a less expensive hobby.

It will be unveiling. At same time we expect Navi to show itself. Then we will know everything we need to know for 2019.

Let's hope AMD can dial those prices back to normal with Navi.

AMD just need to reduce the price for the 590 and they can still hold the midrange.

Vega 56 is also there to compete with 2060.

Vega 56 should be of equal or lower price range to 2060. It is an older gpu with lesser technologies inside. HBM means nothing at all, never meant anything. Not everyone is building a new rig to acquire a new monitor just for freesync to support AMD by the way.

590 will be a great gpu only under 250$ in my book. RTX 2060 will change prices for all lower and mid tier GPUs.

$350 MSRP yet the consumers will be asked to pay $500 i'm guessing.

We should not forget one important fact.

980 Ti is stronger than Fury X about 90% of the games out there.

590 cannot beat Fury X more than 30% of the games out there.

Yet, mid range RTX 2060, is gonna win 980 Ti with 100% success.

Nvidia will win a lot of money with RTX series. They beat the cr#p out of AMD in enthusiast range, now, until Navi, everyone is gonna buy an RTX 2060, either 3,4,6GB variants I guess. AMD was extremely slow to react once again.

So more than 400€ for a xx60 series from Nvidia? As much as a 1070 an year ago... Nvidia is going crazy with those kinda of prices!

People are not gonna buy this card for the tracing becouse its not gonna be capable unless you like low standards. They are not gonna buy it for a raw power becouse card does not have it.

Where do you see success in that? For a 350$ you can buy a used 1080 that smokes this card.

The same goes with RX 590. You can find a used 1070 around 300$ and destroys 590 without healing or respawn.

Yes you are right there so have to take that into consideration.

I would only buy an RTX for ray tracing and if i know card is not capable i would look for alternatives.
Imagine how ray traced Metro will run on this card. Probably not very good.

Yeap. New physx age. I remember the chaos back in the days. Also I remember first metro 2033. Same story.

RTX 2060 will suffer the most. I guess anyone who expects a lot from that price range should consider buying a console.
