My control panel components tab says cuda 3.0.1.
You sure you're installing these correctly Brandon?
Yeah man its cool , I wish my system worked with these cause the bench GOOD for me but I'm back to 191.07 and Crysis and FC2 are running smooth as silk.
its crazy , and I do the whole safe mode driver cleaner stuff , I guess different systems get different results.
Unless of course, people use System Restore. I can't understand why that isn't the preferred method for rolling back a driver install if problems are found same day.
yes reinstalled the drivers the cuda 3.01 came up but these drivers still disable sli in L4D and l4d2 so went back to the 191.66
The system restore in nt6 is too destructive imo.
These 195.55 have been great for me. I was using 195.3 and i had issue sin some games like TF2 black textures and my Starcraft was in a box instead of full screen. Great drivers so far.
As far as rolling back drivers, this is only possible when you install drivers over the existing one without uninstalling the older one. I used to do this until I found that all previous versions of the drivers are still stored in the DriverStore/FileRepository folder. So for every 10 driver installs, the FileRepository folder will be about 1gb larger.
Re 195.55, good first impressions, but found a little microstutter in FarCry2 and poor IQ in Grid for some reason. Went back to 191.66.
if you use windows 7, you will prefer to use it in a window. Its randomly freezing on both x32 and x64 versions for some reason, along with many other games built on ddraw 256
195.55 Win 7 x64.These are keepers my HDTV Theatre System never worked to now + a ASUS Xonar HDAV 1.3 Slim Card cannot believe the quality and audio of true Blu-ray nVidia Drivers here...c1:
well, it's my first driver after switchin to windows 7 64bit. So far so good with games, but there are random occurrence where the drivers won't load on startup, making the video status "cannot start device". Had to restart PC to initialize it properly.
thats not a driver issue :|
yeah, most likely, i have a faint memory of having the same/similar issue when i still have my 5900XT and 6600GT way back
reinstall windows ??? OR faulty hardware !!!
My physX Games(batman, cryostasis) lags hell since the drivers or physX 9.09.30.
Still no change with Win 7 64 bit playing Flight Simulator 2004.
Ghostwindows when switching between fullscreen and windowded mode also ghostwindows when clicking the buttons on top of the sceen in fullscreenmode and panel flickering in fullscreenmode.:bang:
This bugs doesn't appear with XP.
batman ran allot worse for me in win7, i installed it in xp and i use these 195.55 and physx 9.09.930 and its fine runs avg 52fps with physx high.
lol i looked them one day ago and nearly i can swear it was not there..anyway, thank you man.
In my case it works but i've got some other game that crashes itself - Dirt, i've checked it under XP 32 bit only. Worked perfectly on 195.39.
Anyone know if the Fallout 3 stutter/lag has been fixed yet? c:
its not, and probably won't be without bethesda fixing their buggy engine.
