Installed over 471.11. Rebooted. Windows decided it wanted to use an older 456.71 driver.

Went into device manager, manually updated to 471.22 that was listed there from the install. Rebooted.

    So far so good.

Maybe this helps, uninstall nvidia digital audio in the windows cpl , do not uninstall the nVidia driver , but reinstall the full nVidia drivers again and Hdmi works every time for me.

Nothing wrong with your GPU or the drivers, or your motherboard. People need to stop using LatencyMon to determine if there's issues. Do you have any actual issues playing video games? Frame time skips, microstuttering, FPS issues?

yes i do, 3dmark is reporting very low fps if i compare to other rtx2080
    http://www.3dmark.com/spy/21410708

based on other people results, 11k-12k should be the avg. but i only get 9k score with my gpu

plus i cant seem to get my mobo to run more than 8x.

here is my old score using 6700k cpu.
    http://www.3dmark.com/spy/9086267
as you can see it scored way above 10k

while on the new AMD 5600x i scored 9k very low socre

Been trying these drivers for a bit and so far it has been fine.
Bought a LG CX 55 on sale (it was cheaper than the 48 inch even)
so far all good and behave even better than previous Asus 43 inch with
Freesync2. Got a proper 2.1 high speed HDMI cable at least I think so,
it is short as possible 2.0m I know 1.5m is ideal but it would be to short.

Both Dolby Atmos on TV and Dolby Atmos on Soundbar work fine.
So far most games SDR and HDR ones run very smooth and look amazing.

I keep HDR off in Windows mostly and turn on when needed.
Kind off wish it did it automatically. Noticed some HDR games
does it while others do not.

Maybe helpful for some with similar display and Nvidia GPU.
    >Latest firmware fixed native 3840x2160 being slightly off center.
(Max res is 4096x2160 but 3840x2160 is native according to NVCP at least.)
    >Bios reset fixed small res like ones used when starting PC being offset.
(Turning off power on PSU and wait awhile might fix it too but did not test.)

    >Changed Input label to PC for the connected HDMI port (Home button > Home Dashboard)
    >HDMI Ultra HD Deep Colour > On
    >Instant Game Response > On

    >AMD FreeSync Premium > Off
(Some sites said this could cause issues if enabled and connected to a Nvidia GPU)

    NVCP NVIDIA Color settings:
    32bit 10bpc YCbCr444 Limited

    NVCP 3D Settings Global:
    Vertical sync On

    NVCP 3D Settings Program:
Max Frame Rate 116 FPS (Could be 117 too I guess)
Anisotropic Filtering 16x (Not important but helpful on some games)

    ParkControl:
Both Parking AC and Parking DC Disabled
Balanced Power Profile since I use AMD 5900X.
Bitsum Highest Performance profile uninstalled to avoid switching.

Did color calibration but very good color calibration for SDR and HDR if no
hardware for it found here. :)

We will have a fix for this particular TV in the next driver release later this month.

If driver 466.27 does not show this issue, then I think the fix we are adding in our next driver should fix this.

There is an issue with dropping GPU utilization in World of Warcraft when enabling raytracing shadows. I wonder if Nvidia is aware of this and if it's a driver or an application issue.

Why? How else can you tell unless you're very good at diagnosing from feel.

It looks to me that you are comparing an overclocked profile vs a stock one.
Run with the same clocks then compare.

    Screenshot9898.png

Basically if on this driver your card ran the test with average 1884MHz and the other (old) at 2085MHz the ya, the score difference is normal.

    Not on my 3070.
If I enable RT GPU utilization goes from 40% to 98%.

There's other odd thing that I need to test though.
Using DX 12 chops my minimum fps hard vs DX 11 (f.e. 90fps vs 130fps).
Not sure if it's because of latest driver or a game issue, I'll probably install an older version (pre flickering) this weekend and test it.

Ok, that's weird. I tested in panda training hub (not actually playing the game, just fired it up to see how things fare). Going to reproduce and then post screenshots.

Edit: Turns out the game simply requires a restart when enabling raytracing to prevent performance turning bad. :)

Did you ever try to Bench your System at the "High Performance" Power Plan?

I don't know if this affects more systems, but on my Intel Z390 Platform I get lower Results at the "Balanced" Power Plan. It seems that my CPU falls asleep very aggressively and can't feed my GPU enough. That might be different on a Ryzen System, but it would be worth a try as it isn't hard to do and doesn't mess anything up as long as you go back to your former Power Plan after the test.

latency above 4k is a likely hardware problem.

particularly in the presence of the users other posted issue where its only working at 8x.

That's crazy high and definitely not normal. Also, his TimeSpy score is indeed low, can't remember exactly but when I was testing this rig (5800x + 2080) last week after I upgraded, I was getting over 11k graphics score, he's getting 8.8k, there's something wrong here.
