First attempt on Vantage at 4.9 GHz
that's one nice cpu you got there, 1.3v for 4.9ghz, is brilliant, im lucky to get 4.5ghz at 1.35v lol
Well it's on SS and that helps a bit
OK Cowie, what's the trick with Catzilla? Win7 or 8?
Any lod changes needed?
Grats on those scores mydog
Some really kick ass cards in here hehe
whell i consider buy this card after i sell my gtx 670 and 770
israel prices goes up to 1600$ dolars
Finally got the block hooked up and loop rebuilt (no thanks to EK for sending the wrong caps with the fittings, a rad that didn't ship, and a 20mm thick fan that was DOA).
Stock Asus BIOS:
Load (after 2 hours) maxed out at 39C (with one missing rad fan).
I haven't messed with OCing much, but I was hitting 1512 with no issues. (I'll try out other BIOS' later in the week).
same tweaks for vantage work on cat
I only run w7 but I think its a good os for cat
I forgot my chip goes 4.6+ maybe 4650 is the most for vantage but needs volts for it but still never hitting 70c with just an aio on it
had some 74.8k runs but not 75k yet I will give you guys every single freaking tweak I know for cat in a day or two.....after I hit 52k or in about 500 points jajajajaja :nerd:
But I've got no idea what those tweaks are
All I do is the Performance change on the driver.
Looks like 8GB Vram can make noticable difference in 4K, so maybe also 12GB (titanX) could be utilized in near future
Shadow of mordor 4K
290x 4GB - 52 Avg, 40 Min
290x 8GB - 61 Avg, 50 Min
open nvinspector go to catzilla profile and by TrAA ss - set AA mode reapply all and then by dx LOD change LOD to +2.5 or so.. Or use hex number LOD 0x00000078

ok use NVI to as tj has said set AA mode applyall then use hex to set the lod adjustment you can try all the combos you want I went threw it a million times 0x00000060 is the set you will take a number 1 spot with in this one folks
ok ok????? you do all that? good open up 3d11.....yeah yeah just open the freaking thing
turn down your clocks of coarse you wont run as fast on 3d11 as you would kat and run 3d11 for 30 seconds or the first test... ok ?quit that ......now go get your record Kat scores

Thanks I think I got it now
I think you do too :biggun: :biggun:
I have another one coming hmmmmmm
How is it even possible that someone got 97K points? Are you joking?
Those are interesting numbers for sure - id like to know what exact settings are used, and im not exactly fluent in polish (?) Is ultra texture pack used, or is it without the ultra texture pack? Cause with the ultra texture pack + 4k, it would eat up about 6gb vram, which would pretty much explain the rather massive fps difference between the 4 and 8 gb versions.
Just to mention it, those avg and min fps are for CFX setups (2x290X4GB and 2x290X8GB. The single cards perform almost the same, the difference starts to show at CFX with 4K. Single cards compare 32/26 with the 8GB to 30/24 for the 4GB model (again, avg/min). At 1440p the cards perform within 1fps of another. This shows that at 4K VRAM again does matter, but up to 1440p it might not need more than 4GB currently. (Take all those words in relation to those special situations, special game, without dx12 / vulkan, w/e)
here's my result @ same settings ( ultimate i think )
You average 75 fps at 4k with ultra settings, and a single titan x ? Sounds a Little dubious.
