    Wow ...:puke2:

My titan is one hell of a dud ! :bang:
Had loads of TDR error's so i removed my OC and only set 106% in Afterburner and Prio to Power.

Then i fired up Valley and my Titan boosts to 993Mhz with 1.162Vcore ...:thumbdown and im on WATER FFS

Holy carp...that is ugly. Most folks seem to be getting from 1019 on up. Both mine boost reliably at stock to 1050 and with +50 set on the core...to 1084mhz which is my 24/7 clocks with +100 flashed on the memory.

Yeah thinking about that too but how should i tackle this?
I mean what should say at my local shop?

    Me: Wanna RMA my Titan.
    Shop: Whats the problem?
Me: Its not boosting high enough on water
Shop: You had a waterblock on it?
    Me: Yes
    Shop: Sorry no warrenty.
    Me: Sad face ...

I could replacing water with air but then they might say standaard boost clocks are 875Mhz so yours is working great ...

Or should i contact Gigabyte directly ?

I updated my display from 1080p to 1440p a year ago. Since then I had been looking for appropriate gpus to update from HD5870/5970. Since I was not satisfied with spec of gtx680/HD7970, I held off buying new gpus. I felt Titan seemed to be good enough for 1440p and got 2xTitan for my main computer. Simply great so far. I can run the latest games with comfort. A nice bonus is that I can run with Titan some old games that I couldn't run with HD5870 (I have many DRM-free games that I bought from GOG.com or gamersgate.com). Some of these old games are actually pretty good except for graphics. I used to run these old games on one additional computer running XP32bit with 9800gt. Now I shut down this computer and can run all these old games in my main computer with W7 64bit. Nvidia drivers seem to be more compatible with older games than with ATI drivers.

Just got both my titans /w EK blocks installed today, only just started doing a bit of testing and they perform amazingly well.

Couple of things i've noticed so far though, one, maybe both seem to make noise when under high load. I think its called coil whine? I assume this is just one of those things, had it on my 5970. Thoughts?

Secondly at stock the cards boost to 980Mhz & 993Mhz, how is that comparing with the rest of you guys?

mine boost to 993 and 1006 when gaming.
idle they run at 324 Mhz

still havent decided witch gpu blocks i will buy...seems there isnt much choise to choose from. maybe i will go with EK + a nice backplate on them :D
