lol wouldnt that be a downgrade for you
I could use it in my second rig lol who in their right mind would turn down a Titan.
I wouldn't swap my two cards for a Titan.
Just ordered my 2 EVGA Titans, water blocks, backplates and bridge
Does anyone happen to run a 980X and SLI Titans? I'm curious to know what CPU utilisation they use in something like Battlefield 3 etc and if I need to push my OC higher?
I previously ran 2 XFX 5970's in Quadfire which were fine once I upgraded from the i7 920 > i7 980X so I assume these will probably be ok too.
I would raise your cpu oc some
It would replace a 6950 not my 670 sli. That post was just for laughs.
Nor would i go back too two 680s, that i still have.
I'd be the same 2gb is useless these days.
Titan owners club, get it!
Regardless if it were 4gb or not, 2gb was non issue, especially for someone on 1080p who uses no aa
Ironically that has to be the most 'useless' comment I've seen all week..
My friend is looking to throw money at a Titan, what is the max OC on water people are seeing? 1200Mhz+ ?
I think cowie has gotten a very high clock on his but its hard modded last 3dmark11 bench I saw from him his graphics score was about tha same as a 660ti sli setup very impressive.
I doubt my friend will be as brave as Cowie, I guess running them under water is worth it just for the noise and heat reductions.
i dont know, i saw a review of stock titan beating 660ti sli.. need to find it.
i know at my current clocks im beating my stock 680s
you might get 30-50mhz extra on the core at best from watercooling alone..
I think the score was very close to 18k graphics score that would be a good overclocked 660ti sli score should have stated overclocked my bad. I think the biggest limiting factor is the 106% power limit wall the Titan has. I would put that on my cons right next to the disabled SMX unit (I understand why the did both BTW) if they would allow ASUS or EVGA or insert companies here to have their way with GK110 I would imagine that they could get an overclocked Titan to beat a overclocked 690 quite easily.
yeah i would kill for a msi lightning titan, that would be so h4x
but bios flash is easy, can do 120% if you want to stay within card spec(300watts) which is plenty for most cases
Did not know whey had the bios flash out that's cool I would assume you need water to keep it cool at that power draw.
nah i ran it on air, flashed it day one with zero issues
660ti OC getting 18k? Where? My 680s OC will hit almost 20k.
thats pretty low, my 680s hit 24k graphics in 3d11
