yea... the classy's were "supposed" to be exclusive Samsung but then they started shipping out with Elipida which don't oc as well. fir me it was the diff between getting the lightning and getting the classy. the lightning came with either. if im gambling with mem for the classy, id just might as well get the lightning.
Maybe you can can justify 3x780's for $500 a pop? Cheaper than 2x Ti's and you already got the PSU. Yeah, about the same here. I paid 200euros more for my Ti which is 50% of the price I got my 780. If you think about it I could had paid another 200 euros and just get another 780 for SLI. So its either I paid 200euros more for a bit more performance or I saved 200euros and lost a lot of more performance.. Either way you see it I lose. lol!
I dont do tri sli, 2 way sli has been a near flawless experience for me over the years. I might just get 2 ti and then skip maxwell. hoping the 3gb cards go down in price when the 6gb cards come out. else Ill just get 2 780 classys ssd and maybe sell my 680`s and get a korean lcd or gsync maybe

I've ordered bunch of stuff so that I can build new itx (FM2+ mobo) PC for my mother. I guess that there is always the option to buy kaveri and sell the richland when or if it arrives. It should be rather sweet, compact build. Carrizo is the obvious upgrade choice in the future.
From all the "problems" I read at other forums about the 780Ti Classy, I would go with 2 780 Classies and spend the money better elsewhere(GSync monitor sounds good!). :thumbup:
yeah if I get 2 ti thats a good chunk of the money I got to spend. 2 780 I can buy a ssd and maybe a korean monitor too. I rather get a south korean monitor, heard rumors if you get a north korean monitor and try to rma they execute you

I'm thinking of selling my 780Ti tbh and get another WF3 one since my previous WF3 Rev2.0 is still waiting to be sold and I would love to SLI it. Problem is: The core on the 780 doesn't do anything above 1241Mhz@1.21. Not that I would mind 2x 780@1241Mhz. I found a seller for my PSU too so I might get a 1000w one and another 780 WF3 and call it a day.
Even with two 780's (non Ti) he is good to go with 4K... But yes, if money is not an issue, then just go for them (GTX 780 Ti SLI).
Ahhhh.... Finally no more coil whine after changing the PSU! It looks like it made the GPU whine too.
