That made me wonder... Would GPU overclock higher with lower memory overclock? I think I try...

    EDIT:
Well, it did at least finish Heaven with these settings:
    GPU OC only. Hmmmmmmmmm....

16 to 16.66 Celsius ambient room temps. I had to dial the mem down again because of crashes I think the mem oc was the culprit but not entirely sure still getting great fps and can run all my fav games no problem. I wonder how star citizen on ultra would fair...

In my experience memory causes straight up crashes, while too much on the GPU causes artifacts.

Ah its max 320mhz difference, not over 500mhz sorry, :D

Yeah first focus on core and then OC vram a bit so it doesnt raise TDP much, idk try max 150mhz.

    Edit: just saw your edit

what's gives better min fps and final score, high core or higher ram?

I see you end up at around same temp 79C and TDP 90%.

Core OC gives higher score. I need to try some stuff, I test if 1254 Mhz & 6800 MHz combination would be stable.

    EDIT:
Blaah, not stable. Probably it doesn't matter.

I'm gonna try default mem and higher core see if I can get better oc on that since my card is keeping really cool.

GK110 isn't really bandwidth limited so core clock is going to give you more. Memory overclock might give you 5fps going from 6000 to 7000. If you can go further it might be worth it, but meh.

Doesn't look like it made difference in terms of stability now that I tested it. I'll stick with the 7,3 GHz and 1,2 GHz (or core at stock).

Wow great going!. Good oc I'd say your good for now.

I tried the no mem oc on the 780 while just core ocing and it still crashed with only +125 on core with fire strike =/ I left it on +125 anyways and dialed back the mem too 6800 it's stable so far in games but 3d Mark crashes idk y but I'll update later if I have any probs with it at this clock.

Well I undid the LLC and soft mod voltage hack that I used for that run because it was forcing constant voltage. Back to just using the modded bios which is good for 1256/6808 easy but currently running it at 1220/6808 at 1.2V for a 24/7 clock. This is all I really need.

Anyone remember Manli? I think it goes way back in the early 90s, lol I had Rivatnt2 by Manli

So anyway I was looking at some stock 780gtx and I noticed this "Diverse" manufacturer
    http://geizhals.eu/diverse-geforce-gtx-780-a950368.html

when I clicked on the link, it said Captiva
    http://direkt.jacob-computer.de/_artnr_1926460.html?ref=103

when I goggled its code M-NGTX780/5RCHDDP it pinpointed to this Japanese store which has Manli under that code,
    http://www.1-s.jp/products/detail/91711
    also to Manli
    http://www.manli.com/en/product/geforce-gtx780

So this Diverse Captiva is actually Manli :nerd:

    Hello guys.
I got Gigabyte GTX 780 WF3 OC (http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4673) and tried to OC it.
Is it safe to use +150Mhz on core and +500Mhz on memory as 24/7 OC? With custom fan curve.
This OC seems stable in Heaven 3 (maxed) and BF4 (ultra).

Thanks for any reply in advance.

Picked one up for the living room rig as the 6970 I had wasn't cutting it (couldn't handle sleeping dogs, batman or Tomb Raider). I'm waiting to replace the 670's with hopefully 880 classy's.
