No problems here with the 320.18 drivers and gtx780 Metro LL Battlefield 3 Sniper elite v2 Crysis 3 Farcry 3 All works fine.
Same here. Using 320.18 on a overclocked GTX 780. No problems with the games Metro 2033, Metro: Last Light and Battlefield 3. Metro: Last Light howerver freezes on me at a certain part of the game, but I think that's game related. I do hope that future drivers can squeeze a little bit more performance out of the cards.
320.18 runs flawless here too. Tried Skyrim, RIFT, TERA, Bioshock 1 but no-OC so far don't need lol it crushes my 680 about 50% when using downsampling.
I have not had this problem with MLL I don't think it's game related. That's with Titan SLI 1124Mhz each card 314.22 drivers.
I'm guessing you have Advanced Shadows turned OFF in Sniper Elite V2 then because there is a known issue with the game that causes it to freeze within a few minutes of playing it with it enabled for both GTX 780 and Titan owners? This issue also affects Aliens vs. Predator (2010) and Nazi Zombie Army as well since they are also both by Rebellion and using the same engine. NVIDIA know about this and are including a fix in the next driver. I noticed that the psychedelic blue/purple screen issue in Trine 2 was fixed in a Steam update last night so that's at least one of my issues resolved, albeit that one did not thankfully require an updated driver. I say 'thankfully' because driver fixes from NVIDIA seem to take bloody ages and by the time they arrive I am no longer playing the affected games!
Just uninstalled 320.18 after getting "Driver not responding" while playing Metro: LL. The freezes were related to that. I didn't get a CTD that's why I thought it was game related. After checking the Event Viewer I saw the problem. Now rockin 320.11 again and playing Metro without any problems.
Hm this 780GTX looks better and better Some nice OC scaling, beats stock Titan (875mhz) no problem http://ht4u.net/reviews/2013/nvidia_geforce_gtx_780_review/index20.php
It's quite an amazing card, a single 780 with OC pretty much matches the performance of my previous (and precious ) CF 7970GHZ, i don't have the SLI results yet (RMA EVGA 780 SC) but here are some preliminary results (i made those graphs for a Spanish forum called Noticias3D): CF HD7970 GHZ @ 1050/1500 (2700K @ 5GHZ + HT) CF HD7950 @ 950/1250 (2700K @ 5GHZ + HT) (FX8350 @ 4.50GHZ) SLI GTX 670 @ 1200/1500 (3700K @ 4.5GHZ + HT) GTX 780 @ 1150/1750 (2700K @ 5GHZ + HT) ---
I'm looking forward to seeing how my GTX 780, with a +150/+250 MHz offset on the core/memory respectively performs with an i7-4770K (initially at 3.5-3.9 GHz) powering it as opposed to an almost-five year old i7-920 at 3.7 GHz. At the least I expect higher minimum framerates.
CFX is obviously faster but on a single card you're free of microstuttering and driver issues. It's absolute bliss, I can tell you.
I know that. I'm even considering a gtx 780 over 7950 cf for my next upgrade. Was just saying that according to those charts the gtx 780 losses to 7970 cf quite badly. Which is to be expected.
you will see a big difference. I have a i73770k@4.3Ghz with my GTX780 sc w/acx cooler. Good choice for the motherboard and CPU. Have fun
guess it wont be till mid july we start to see some customs aye? Thinking msi is going to be later since i did not see a card picture at computex
just played 1hour TERA with DS 2880x1620 and SweetFX with my 780 @ 1202/3005 i think i got a golden one, just tested 15mins Heaven too to be sure but it actually just was a quick test for me, with custom fan profile i maxed out at 70 °C and 1.162v. That card rocks so hard, TERA in 2880x1620 looks so gorgeous and runs quite good 50-60fps, my 680 @ 1306/3506 got smashed at that resolution when combat started to 30fps area.
just got mine, asic quality is 80.3% if im playing at 1920x1080 will OCing the memory actually help? I've always just OC'd the core clock because thats what usually made a huge difference, not the mem? this card goes to 1019mhz w/o touching anything (OC/OV) it goes to a little more than 1200mhz oc'd (haven't really taken the time to find the exact limit) I hope I got a good one! and I sort of see I didn't really need the upgrade from my 580... edit: did a bit more OCing and played crysis 3. gpu clock was 1254mhz. custom fan profile max temp 76c max fan 76% and max power %..... 132%.
pretty badass you have there, but how do you set max power to 132% :3eyes: it maxes out for 106% for me, but most of the time i'm hovering in the 80-90% area
