We review the all new GeForce GTX 570 the little brother of the GTX 580. Armed with a license to kill it will hunt down all modern games. A card that will be positioned in the 349 EUR price bracket...

Awesome product! i guess the 480 is pretty much obsolete now.

^ hmm well it still overclocks better than a 570 apparently but I guess with regards to power consumption, yes

Looks great performance wise but price is little bit high. Lets see if HD 6950/6970 will reduce it little bit.

Not sure if this is an error by Newegg but the Palit GTX 570 is listed for $350 (EUR 262) (+$8 shipping), that's almost $100 less than MSRP.

EDIT: Must be across the board here in the US cause BigcatDirect has MSI 570 for $360

The GTX 570 looks like another "Fermi done right" winner. Oh dear, Charlie won't be pleased... ;)

But no "recommemded" logo at last page?

Looks impressive, but used GTX480's are quite much cheaper and offer same performance...

you was expect anything else ? take the 580 remove 1SIMD 1 memory controller.... ( or a 480 done right with less memory )..

Now it's a good card, 480 perfs and spec ( at the difference of the memory ) .. specially for the price ...

"Fermi Finally Done Right" you mean ? ;)

Looks like a good, cool card.
Its basically a slightly cut down 580, and the cooler was v.good on that.
Lets just hope the 69xx can pull that price down to around $300 or so and it will fly off the shelves.

This 500 series is looking like a good Gen from Nvidia, nearly G80-like.
    Sweet.

first impression was wow!!! amazing card, that's until I saw the price over here in the uk... it's quite pricey! still a good card for the money, but it's not such a great value for money card as some others out there atm...

At that price point this card is quite the winner!

It's not too bad; it can be found for around £278 (€329) which is a bit cheaper than the €350 mentioned in the review.

Still waiting on 69xx to decide...

I don't know why, the EU price is just damn wrong compared to the US one ( listed at 349-369 dollars ( EU price is allways high, but this time they beat some record ) ... let's hope the price will go down and it's just cause it's new.

New upper-range Nvidia cards are always priced high. They'll settle down in the next few weeks.

I wonder if Swiftech's MCW80 GPU Block will fit on this card with no problems?

Can anyone confirm that the 570 / 580 are similar in layout and GPU die size as their younger brothers ?

I really don't want to call Swiftech because I doubt they know yet.

    /edit

I'm asking this on Swiftech forums, I'll probably have better luck there.. lol

Don't SLI 480's have enough power by themselves for 3d vision?
