Driver worked well for me this week in Surge 2, Borderlands 3, Outer Worlds, and Fortnite

3 of those games are Unreal Engine 4 so no crazy bugs in UE4 at least. And Surge 2 is Vulkan, seemed fine there. Also FreeStyle is working in Surge 2 (thank god because the new test builds of Reshade with Vulkan support still not working in Surge 2)

adding to the excellent and brilliantly composed post by martigen:

So, if we use a prior driver (431.86), and adopt some of the other UE4 SLI inspector profile builds we should easily get this to work. I'll get started on that. I can even do 4 way SLI for it.

While I appreciate a member of nvidia participating on this forum, I am disappointed in the response in that post. Nvidia marketing goes so far to promote a new lukewarm product line at the expense of the prior, and relates it to the nvlink bridge. Not to mention a product line who's only half baked selling point is ray tracing that forced the user to go back to monitor resolutions of 10 years ago in order to get 60fps. To optimze the mess, they implement DLSS blurfest to reduce resolution and eek out a few more fps. Now this? No, there is more if you count forced telemetry and driver downloads now exceeding .5 GB

I bet BUGBEAR will make it work amazingly. He's done a methodical, compendium like post on 4 way SLI that is a veritable cornucopia of how to in 4 way SLI. For those interested there is a huge thread in this forum on how to implement 4 way SLI on the 10xx series cards as well (search venturi Pascal SLI). This was after nvidia also said one couldnt do 3 or 4 way SLI on the 10xx series cards. Thank you BUGBEAR for a solid reference thread on 4 way SLI!

The only way it won't work is if its deliberately disabled in driver releases beyond 431.86

Go to the AMD section and you'll find various complaints about the drivers for various of their GPUs too. The grass isn't always greener on the other side.

Shadow of Tomb Raider still crashes for me in DX12 (RTX On) mode. Most games have weird problems in DX12 while DX11 works 100% stable, so same ol' same ol'...

I used Sli for years, you already validated my points. There are plenty of games that have improper sli support at launch. Im not into losing 50% perf.

Also i do not think two 1080 tis are better because it only works sometimes. That is a fact.

i saw this thank you but when i tested by myself i found performance loss in games, fps drops, and time spy scores were weird every time changing from very good to very bad, i use ddu and slimmed the driver, no problemo with 436.51.

Since updating to these I'm getting occasional flashing /corrupt textures in some games I'm playing ATM.
Kingdom Come, AC Odyssey and NBA2k19.

Seems there is a very rare slow down affect too.

    Windows 10 1903 (fresh install & VisualC updated) & GTX 1080ti

@ManuelG Please add VRR support for Volta Titan V

No offense, but barring technological limitations (really doubt it in this case), it's really bad taste to not include this customer base who is pretty much the "early adopter" group for Turing architecture. Especially considering the early adopter tax for next-gen architecture. Thank you for your time and efforts in advance.

My reference for my Volta=Turing inference.

only one person has provided a ETL so far for me to look over, from the "dpc latency" reddit post.

The nvidia driver isn't even the cause, the NDIS and USBXHCI drivers in the system are each taking >200us to finish.
